Just received calls from these two numbers for the first time today.  8:13am from 502-522-9998, 9:45am from 502-522-9998, and 5:59pm from 502-357-7779.  If I don't know who the caller is I NEVER answer it, so I have no idea who was calling me, as they never left a message.  I don't own a Sears or Home Depot credit card, and I have absolutely NO bills overdue to anyone anywhere, so I have no idea why they would be calling me.  I'm going to try calling this FTC number in Atlanta to see what they have to say about it.

They call me several times a day, even though I've called the number on my Sears card and talked with them about my account. They left a message this morning at 8:30; it was a woman yawning.

I have been called from this number several times a day for the last week. They called my house at 10pm at night. I just got my home number and told the caller the same. They were rude claiming I was giving false information and that I should not be hiding from my debt!!! What debt I asked and then they proceeded to ask for my social security, like I am giving anyone that number. The gentleman gave me a date of birth that would be my grandfathers age I told him I was not that age and he said sorry and hung up. Not 30 mins later he called back. It is Citigroup (Citibank) whatever they call themselves. Funny thing is I have never had a credit card and it shows me I was right in never getting one. A**holes they really are. I feel bad for the people that have to deal with them. That is my story about 5025229998

I just got this call x2 [one and then another immediately following].  Out of curiosity - I blocked my outgoing caller ID and called it back.  Some guy claimed they were calling about my Sears or Citi card... I have neither (nor have I ever}.  Seems like someone phishing for information.

The Company in questions can not call you before 9 am to 8pm.  If they do they have violated the Fair Debt Collectors Act.  If they are calling you 8+ times a day, get a notebook (or lifer pad) and do the following:
1) Name of the person who called & the COMPANY that they represent.
2) The time that they called
3) Location Yours and theirs.
4) How they sounded to you including but not limited to, EXACTLY what they said to you.
5) gather all statements where they state that you still owe them and you don't.

If they sound threatening or even state that they will take you to court in an even voice, ask for the name of their attorney/law firm.  If they do not give you said information, talk to a supervisor/manager.  If they state that they're "too busy" to talk to you state fine I'll call the home of in New York maybe they can give me the answer and hang up on them.  You then get online and contact the home office in New York, NY.  (it's under citicorp)  Get the number and demand (in a polite voice) for the CEO.   Personally I filed with the state Consumer Department through the FTC.  Good Luck

I DO. I HAVE AN ARRANGEMENT WITH THEM & THEY KEEP MESSING UP MY ACCOUNT STILL!!!! THEY ARE INCOMPETENT!!!  They blame on "Computer glitches/ Human Error" yet it still cost you for the extra fees until YOU threaten them with a LAW SUIT AND ASK FOR THEIR ATTORNEY'S NUMBER!!!  Their customer service manager coudln't even give me a fax number for their offices in SD.  I was informed by the CUSTOMER SERVICE MANAGER that (and I quote) "DON'T HAVE THAT INFORMATION" !!!  IF YOU HAVE A SEARS/CITICORP CARD SHRED AND BURN IT.

Not all of us here on this board are dummies AND DO GET IT.   SOME OF US ACTUALLY HONOR AN AGREEMENT BUT NOT CITIBANK/SEAR CREDIT SERVICES.!!!!!

This belongs to Citibank / Sears credit. They have been calling an old phone number that they are hoping is one of their debtors. I notified them in no uncertain terms that I will be sending their registered agent for process service a written cease contact order which will immediately be followed by a civil suit in my home county if they violate it.

You are protected from harassing phone calls by the federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, and in California also by the Rosenthal Act. You must notify them in writing to cease contact. Each violation afterward will cost them $2,500 per incident, payable to you if you sue them.

It is citicard for Sears and rubbish saying there is an over due balance on your Sears card.I know this because of the caller ID on my phone.I called it back and was told they need my s.s.card number, acct. number and home phone number or mailing address.I said you must have it becauce you keep calling from 8 am-9pm,every two hours. They said it cannot be stopped unless I give out my personal info.My Sears card has no balance and I have not recieved any paper statements or emails in regard to this acct.

I've been getting numerous calls from this number.  Never anyone there when I pick up, never leaves a message.  I *69 to get the number, call it, and am told by a recording my call can't be completed.  Turns out it is Citicard calling for Sears debt collections.  I don't have a Sears card, I called Sears to complain and find out they've got the wrong number.

I called this number back.  It seemed sketchy, they tried to pull them selves off as a card company.  They say that the call was mis routed then ask for you card information.  Seems bogus to me.

Yes, this number is for a Sears card through Citibank. They called me (even though I don't own a Sears card; I have another card through Citi) when I was two days late! TWO DAYS! I finally called them back out of curiosity, since the number kept calling me ALL DAY. I spoke with someone and let them know it was an oversight, and that I would be sending the money, but they still continue to call!
