If you really want to stop these people, complain OFFICIALLY to the Florida Dept of Agriculture and Consumer Affairs. Contact Monica Brown of their Telemarketing Dept at Monica.Brown@freshfromflorida.com and/or go to the website www.800helpFLA.com and use the online complaint form. Be as specific as possible. Name Michael Hilgar and Elite Information Solutions and say that his company is making direct sales solicitations in violation of Florida law in addition to violating Federal law (you can make that complain to the FCC). Unbelievably when I spoke with Monica she told me NO ONE had yet made a formal complaint against this company. I did. Now YOU need to do as well so we can put these people behind bars. Michael Hilgar IS a criminal and known con artist. Just look up his record. He has gone from one scam (roofing and stucco) to another. WE need to stop him.

Complain to your State Attorney General's office. Indiana State Attorney General filed suit against this company in August, putting a restraining order on them to stop calling people in Indiana. Indiana had over 600 complaints on this company. Your state will listen if they get enough complaints, your complaint definity counts. This company stopped calling Indiana, but they are still calling the rest of the states and now starting to call Canada. If every state puts a restraining order on them, they will have no one to call in the US.
Check out what Indiana is doing to them:

Company owner is Michael Hilgar. This company goes by several FAKE names. Here are a few names that they are using: Safeline Medical Alert, Senior Medical Benefits, Senior Medical Advisory, Senior Alert Line, and Senior Safeline.

I have gotten this call at least twice (7/5 and 7/24), probably more but I've only recently jotted down when they call. I reported them to the FCC, please do the same if you have the time. Gotta stop these jerks!!!!

Hey guys. I know exactly what company you're talking about because I used to work for them, for a short period of time. While I don't know anything of calls from Rainier, OR, I can say that I do know of calls from Orlando, FL. While the telemarketers aren't supposed to say their location, they will sometimes say they're from Orlando. That's not true; their office is located in Casselberry, a city NEAR Orlando. Their building is hidden behind another, and is unmarked. If you weren't previously informed that this was their 'national call center,' you'd never know this building wasn't just a part of the Ticor Title building out front.
I have a phone number for that "Orlando" office, but even as an employee, I'm not sure if its legitimate. That was 407-892-4470. I only got that after asking a few fellow employees for a callback number. If anyone's intending on trying to take them down, please do so. They even attempt to scam their own employees. Anything to make a buck.

Have had repeated calls from this number. Caller ID says Rainier OR. Never leaves a message. Now that I know what they're trying to sell, I'll ignore it even harder. Thanks, guys!

They've called me 8 times in the last six weeks. I had to pose as a customer to get their company name, Safeline Alert. They appear to funnel their business to Lifewatch.

Got a call from this number today. Received a recording about receiving free equipment for senior citizens. It made me a little upset since I have seen first hand how easily senior citizens can be tricked into buying something. This message is playing on their fear. I decided to stay on the line and press 1 to get my number off the calling list. I talked to Josh, who was very offended that I was offended by the company message. I chose not to argue with him, but had my number removed. I hope it works. If this is a legitimate company, I think there are better ways to sell a product then working off of people's fear; that's just wrong. And why do they not publish their name on the call and why is it a number you can't call back. Sounds too suspect to me.

Caller ID said "unkown name". Northwest Oregon. It was a local area code, so I picked up. Won't do that again. Got silence, then a recording..........."if you're a senior citizen" and I hung up. Thanks to all the posts, now I know what it was about. They'll get my fax machine next time.

Same as LC; I answered and a recording was trying to give away "FREE" a medical alert system to all senior citizens; just stay on the line and hit 1 to speak with someone (who will likely try to sell you something). I also just hung up!

Call came in about 4:35pm from Rainer Or, picked up the phone ad recording was pitching a free medical alert system for all senior citizens, you were asked to hit 1 and someone would explain, I just hung up the phone. Oh if that call comes again I will just ignore it.

Just got one of these. Silence when I picked up. Caller ID only showed the number. Came on our Qwest land-line.

Keeps calling; caller id says it is coming from Rainier, OR, I don't know anyone in Rainier, so I do not answer, but it's so annoying!

Got call June 7th . Didn't answer and they left no message. Just another scam. Oh well, I didn't answer so no loss.

503-395-1231 has called many times, when I answer all I gt is an echo of my own voice. Comcast is terrible for this. Constant wrong numbers and scams. Landline only used for emergency so nobody has the number. Wish they would stop calling!
