Thanks guy said he was from Windows and that my computer was sending all kinds of error messages, and that someone had hacked into it;
heavy east indian accent, glad to read these other postings as I was second guessing hanging up on him.

Called numerous times in past 2 days.  Claiming to be calling from "Windows".  Heavy East Indian accent.  Very rude.  They try telling you your computer is sending out malicious files.  They want to gain remote access to your computer to give you a "free checkup".

Total fraud and hoax.  Hang up one them.

Got 4 calls today from this number (6 in the last 30 days), all claiming to be "Windows Support Desk".  The heavy accented Packistanian asks to have remote access to my computer.  Being a IT person, I played along.  Did not tell him of my knowledge, just played along to obtain as much info as I could.  Filed a complaint with phone busters (Canadian Gov's anti-fraud division).

Got a call from 503....... screeen shown -google svcs 'did not leave any msg.

calls and hangs up immediately. Very annoying.

got a call and identified myself.
the caller sounded drunk and asked "who is this?"

I said "I think you have a wrong number"... and caller said "o.k., sorry".

This telephone number belongs to Pacific Telecom Communications Group.  They are a public utility who's business involves facilitating telemarketing calls, a possible violation of 16 C.F.R. §310.3(b) of the Federal Telemarketing Sales Rule.

Missed the call. They didn't leave a message.

The recorded message told me something to the effect the this was the last chance to take advantage of a change in the law that will adversely affect my credit, or some words to that effect. I'm going from memory. It said to press one on the telephone to get help with this problem. I did so in order to try to stop the calls but the phone went dead. I called the number from my call log and it said that the number had been discontinued and belonged to, I think  Pacific telephone.

Very annoying!

This must be some type of switch number.  It is registered to Nextel Communications and the number shows up sometimes when my daughter calls Virginia on a Virginia cell phone from Texas.  The call is legit, just the number is wrong.  The call was personal, so the call type listed below doesn't have a category to fit.

Received a call from these scamers saying I won I sweepstakes.  I told the lady I wasn't interested and she quickly hung-up

Caller id shows "Serivce Call".  Asked for Jeremy...never been a Jeremy here.

Received a call from this number 9/25/11 at 6:26 p.m. The caller ID said "SERVICE CALL."  I assumed it was an attempt to fool me into answering it. They left no message.

Called, left no message. Similar number to another telemarketer.
