I'm on the National and Texas Do Not Call lists. This is the second time they've called, and the second time I've asked them to NOT call me.

This telephone number belongs to Pacific Telecom Communications Group.  They are a public utility who's business involves facilitating illegal telemarketing calls in apparent violation of 16 C.F.R. §310.3(b) of the Federal Telemarketing Sales Rule.

Same "Financial Ctr" from 2 different numbers yesterday.  The other # was 360-474-3980

The Do Not Call Registry has become a joke, it isn't stopping anyone and the calls just keep on coming.  I have filed complaints with them but nothing has ever happened, I just don't think that anyone really cares if we are being harassed at all hours of the day.  I have mostly just stopped answering my phone and calling our friends and family back after I know who made the call.  It seems like something can be done but nothing is and it doesn't look like it ever will be.  I have started a record of these calls but I have no idea why.  There needs to be another option for Call Type down under the comments which would read Scam Calls.

I have said this before and I will say it again. The do not call list is a f****ng joke. All it does is give these scammers more telephone numbers to call...

I received a call from 503-457-1792. They left no message on my voicemail. I called the number and was given the option to remove my number from their list.

At Supreme Headquarters in 1944-1945, all phone calls were urgent requests for bullets, tanks, mail, underwear, shoes, coats, or replacements to fill battle casualties.  

Today, who are these un-American terrorists who are calling us?  

I answer no out-of-state calls (today's was from Tillamook, Oregon, the state in which I had previously called to see why a former soldier, now 91, was not answering his e-mail or telephone).

Didn't listen for a message.  I picked up my whistle and blew into it as hard as I could.  Maybe this will stop the idiots.

Here's the answer to all your prayers. Telemarketers almost exclusively use "autodialers" to make their calls. One out of a thousand will have the reps doing the dialing. When these dialers connect (you answer the phone) they listen for any tones generated. They then transfer the call to one of the reps in a call center. "IF" the autodialer hears the 3 beeps from dialing a "DISCONNECTED" number, the number just dialed is automatically "REMOVED" from their list. Below is a link that has this tone PLUS the verbal message. You DO NOT need the verbal message. Download or copy the "DISCONNECTED" MP3 or WAV file to your desktop. Create or change the greeting you have when someone calls you and you're not available. At the VERY BEGINNING of the message place the 3 tones only (NOT THE VOICE MESSAGE). The autodialer will hear the tones and BINGO, your number will be removed since they think it's a disconnected number. After you insert the 3 tones play your regular greeting to callers. DONE. In a few weeks you will be off of all the lists. Of course you may have to explain the tones to the callers you DO want to speak to but that's a small tradeoff. Pass this info on to people you know that get junk calls or even help post this on these websites. GET RID OF JUNK CALLS.

Caller ID read "Financial Services". I am on the Do Not Call List. I answered - pressed "1" to get further info about er. . . reducing credit card interest (load 'o crap). Man answered and I got a few words out about my number being on Do Not Call - man immediately hung up.
Evidently this is a very pervasive scam. Too many people are being called. The phone number is probably phony - computer generated. I would suggest going along with the scam until you get a valid call-back number and then report it to the FTC Do Not Call abuse center. Don't know any other way of stopping it except using a lawyer and suing them.

The caller id reads "FINANCIAL CTR". My number is unlisted but i still receive about 1 call per week. When I call the number back and wait through the silence & several rings, a recording says "Hello, and thank you for calling back. You have received a marking call from a commercial entity or it's representatives. If you would prefer to not receive call from this organization in the future press 1 at any time to be added the this organizations do not call list". Message repeats 3 times then disconnects.

Ask and said I've asked several times to remove me from your list  He replies back "Your a Bi***, I say Yep I am  he hangs up lol

they show up as "financial services ctr" of course their only reason for calling is to get you to reveal your card type and hopefully your number. It is a scam and needs to be stopped. They ignore the DNC registry, so the state (they list out of of Oregon) needs to stop them

It's another fraud operation. I read that California is rounding up the scammers using this number in some type of phone sting. Sure would be nice to pull the plug on these bimbos.

Another trick I started doing when it is a robo caller asking for my contact information so they can call back I give my local prosecutors name and phone #. If those that are supposed to prosecute for violations won't do their job then they can talk to them.

Never give your name and/or # to any telemarketer or machine. This gives them legal permission to call back later. They will now claim it is for outstanding business and that you have now created a business relationship. This voids the DNC list. Also tell these jerks before hanging up that they do not have any open business with you. This is to inform them that any further call is clearly in violation.

Numerous calls and requests to be removed from list.  This has been going on for almost a year now.  I have bought myself a whistle.  I am done messing around.

I've *repeatedly* asked them to stop calling, however they still call, at different times randomly. I pressed "1" to talk to a live person, but they hung up when I said stop calling. I have dialed them back and pressed "1" to be removed, but the calls still come. I'm filing a complaint with the attorney general in NY. This is criminal harassment and they won't stopped until we ensure that unwanted calls have to PAY the callee ... please address these issues to your congressman and senator as well! I am on the DO NOT CALL list, and have filefd a complaint with them as well.

Received a call from this number within the past hour on the 4th of July. Caller ID listed the caller as Financial Ctr.  We never pick up on a phone number we don't recognize.  . . . The FCC needs to start cracking down on scammers such as these.  Legitimate businesses do not call people who are listed on the "Do Not Call List."

i keep getting calls same number i finally had enough i even got put on there do not call list and they still call,,they hang up when i answer phone  this time they answered the phone i said,,,,,, listen you sand n****rs quite calling me,,, they are foreigners  thats what i call all of them. maybe they wont call no more if they do they are really going to get a good old american cussing,......

No, the attorney general will not go after them. Nor will your congressman, senator, or the FTC. If you want this sort of abuse to stop you need to elect representatives who are more concerned with the quality of living for the people rather than the profits of large corporations.

Card Services by a slightly different signature on caller id - up to the same scam. I asked the telescammer what his name was and he had to think about it. What a bunch of low-life crooks.
