Call came in last time at 1126 am arkansas time on 11/17/2012 no message no live caller

Received a call about 1/2 hr ago.
Standard rules of the real world. Be armed with Caller ID.
Do not answer the phone if you do not recognize the number. If you do, then they will continue to call because a warm body answered the phone and they know then what time someone is there. THe telemarketing community sells info to other telemarking firms on points of contact.
Buy an airhorn. THey really hate that.
They rarely leave messages.  
I have this down to a science because I have my own business, and work from home. I know that most calls are made on Mon and Fri. Today has been pretty phone busy.

I used to get calls from collection agencies that seem to think that if you have the same last name of somone they are trying to locate, you must be related and ask all the info. Finally, seeing an article about this same person, I suggested they contact someone at the State Pen. He killed his mother, so I guess he can not pay his bills in jail??? LOL!  After several of these calls, I started to call them back from a burn phone, continuously for hours. Finally some nasty B got on the phone and was preparing to verbally assault me and I said...."so this is what it is like when you call my home"'
I had one last nerve left and she was on it....and she also got the airhorn. Man, that was a great day!!

There is an option at the end of the message for you to opt out of receiving any more calls from this company, but I have used it many times.  Like the "Do Not Call" list, it doesn't work.  They keep on calling.

This is a robo call from Astoria, Oregon wanting to sell a security system for the home.  There is no option to take numbers off their lists.  It needs to stop.  When people are on the National Do Not Call registry it means  NO telemarketing calls or it should.

I agree with evryone above. The National no call list is not working anymore. Let the answer maching answer your calls. Have your phone company put the ID CID on your phone. Your Greeting should say
" The national no call list is does not work. I will not responds to telemarketing calls" Then continual with the uesal greetings. The National no call list are not doing their job of protecting people from these calls.
I receive a call from a scammer claiming to be from Microsoft tech department . Known it is a scam I hung up on the Indian accent guy on the other end. The national no call list are letting business call people These scammer who pretend to be business are allow to make phone calls. I think the National No Call web site should be taking down. It is a dececptive website that leave people in believing they will not receive calls from scammers and telemarketer. Yes I think the rules on the National NO Call List website

Because the "Do Not Call list" does not work any better than anything else, these window lickers still can sleeze their way into telephone lists .

THE FIRST PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE THAT ACTUALLY ENFORCES THE  DO NO CALL LIST  GETS MY VOTE !!!  

It's worst or about the same as it was in the years before.   We need a federal enforcement agency that can shut these sites down in hours  - like an amber alert.    Forget the 30 day list excuse.  Everyone has been on the DNC list for years.  I went to YAHOO for my email 'cuz I was spammed by LOCALNET.  Now YAHOO is spamming everyone.  Even Microsoft inserts ad spam which it's virus protection allows.

I think when I *67 then enter their number(hides mine) I'll put in my U.S. Senator's ph number when they ask if you want them not to call you.  They use that # TO CALL YOU BACK.  It's a ph # with a live body behind it.
This company is in Oregon.  Email their gov't  and say you'll never buy from any business in their state if they don't flush their telemarketers down the pipe.  The last thing you want to do in a bad economy is piss the population off even more.

I wasn't home, so they didn't leave a message. I have a "do not call" order and hope that someone will clamp down on all the people who call who SHOULDN"T call.  Thanks for your efforts.

I'm on the do not call list and have been, from day 1, so why are these peoples still calling me?

I got a call from 503-468-5092 Fri. 8/19/12 @ 10:57am Astoria, Or. (all this showed on CID). PLUS a woman's recorded msg on my ANS MACH. which I'd just as soon NOT have gotten either. Don't complain about these callers NOT leaving a message, as that just lets you know FOR SURE it's a telemarketer. And I can't imagine anyone wanting them to call. But NOW to get msg is even worse!

This msg told me it was a security system & to hit #1 for more info or #9 to opt out. Now I'm SURE my ans. mach. will hit a # for me?!!!!!!!  

And you can live in "TIM BUCK TWO" or the JUNGLES of Africa & they will still call you if you have a ph! These scumbags don't quit. I think they get pd per call made (& those by auto dial machs.) not per sale made & wouldn't doubt that they use the DNC lists to get even more #s to call. At any rate I REFUSE to ans. their calls. I have a Talking CID Panasonic ph that announces who & what # is calling me w/BLOCKING feature which I wouldn't be w/out. Cost $100.00 Sept 2011.

This number keeps calling but never leaves a message.....leads me to believe, trying to sel something or at least its not important enough to leave message.  I have blocked this number, tired of the hang ups.

This call is coming from Oregon.  I finally answered because they never leave a message & I think they were trying to sell something, but I live in Louisiana.
