503-844-8400 is that caller ID you get when the Washington County Library calls you to let you know something is ready to pick up.

Washington County Government phone system that displays one generic phone number for over 2500  actual numbers.

I am a receptionest at RE/MAX we keep reciving unwanted calles from this number. It is a very kreepy man trying to sale leads to agents in our office. I have told him several times to stop calling and if there is any way to stop him from harrasing the women agents at this office that would be much appreciated.

Every time I go to answer it hangs up.

Automated call saying I have 3 overdue books from the Washington Co. Library System (in Oregon).  I've never checked out a book from them.  Weirder still....the Caller I.D. shows "Garbage Svc Inf".  Nice!

I get this call a lot also, I thought it was the Beaverton City Library in Oregon, either that or PGE calling because I didnt pay my electricity bill on time.  But I have never picked it up I just ignore whenever it calls - 3 times a month.

Stop ringing when we pick up after 3 rings.

Got a voice mail with no message left. Caller ID says "Washington County". If it was important then why not leave a message? Verizon has a number block feature, but only works with with local calls; hey this is local. Guess who's getting blocked!

This is a generic number shown for many Washington County phone numbers.  In my case it was the Washington County DA's office returning my call

dunno. we answered, they asked us if a frriend was there, we told them no but we could give them a number to reach the friend and they hung up.

I checked my account at the Washington County Cooperative Library System and had indeed a book waiting for me that I had on hold....
