I Had a call from that number several times. They were asking for Donald. Once I even told  that no Donald lives here. (I'm Dave not Donald!) plus I do not have any time share what so ever.  I also already told about it. Still ones a while I receive calls...

I received an unsolicited call from a "Lisa O'Neal" with a message to immediately call back to a 503 area code. I ran a Google search with the name and area code, and found several messages that the person and number are from Universal Timeshares, and the call is a scam. Thanks to those of you who reported the number & name!

So you claim this company is a scam because Sell My Timeshare, a competing company says so. Don't be no naive. I'm sorry to be so blunt about it, but that's just really stupid, not to mention slanderous (more so by SMT than yourself but perpetuating the lie is no better than fabricating it). I'm sorry you're unhappy with the marketing tactics of this company but it's 2012 and frankly it would be irresponsible any company not to utilize every marketing recourse available, telemarketing included. As for you, I'll ask you a question. One that I'm sure you won't answer on this message board, not honestly at least. I'll ask you something that you only have to answer to yourself. How much did you pay this company "up front", before they provided you with ANY results, how many offers have they brought you since then... and of course, how much did they sell your timeshare for? Do the answers look something like: $400-$900, zero offers, and "well it still hasn't sold, but they promise me they're working on it" (input sarcastic tone here). If  you paid that company one red cent, you paid them for an internet listing. Your timeshare will sit on their website and there it will ROT, they will never sell it for you and I'll bet everything I have on that. And would you like to know why? (continuing the sarcasm) Think about it, did you buy your timeshare off a website, or where you at the resort? Did you thumb through listings and websites? Nope! You were at the resort, they took you on a V.I.P. tour, sat you down at the table and worked you into submission. (I sold timeshares for Summer Bay in Vegas for some years) My point is that timeshares are sold in a sales presentation and nothing else. Aside from the company here in question, the only other company I know for a fact HAS SOLD timeshares is Timeshare Hot List in Florida; no affiliation. Now in regards to your mention of "when they get your check you will get a call from them saying the buyer backed out". That's also incorrect and if you bothered to do any research at all you would know that. This company doesn't accept any payment by anything other than major credit card. Why is that important? Well if any company charges for services under fraudulent circumstances the credit card company will protect the consumer. But of course a competing agency didn't tell you that, and of course you didn't ask. Instead you bought into their BS (sorry about the harsh letters) and further proved P.T. Barnum's famous quote. So enjoy that timeshare you still haven't sold and please do a little more homework about how things really work before you go shooting your mouth off again.

Sincerely Jules

There is no affiliation between Universal Timeshare SA and MGM Universal, or any other timeshare company for that matter. But thanks for throwing the word "scam" around on a whim and an assumption. Real nice. The testimonials on the website are real and you have no proof as to otherwise. And as for the BBB...   www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yo8kfV9kONw   see for yourself.

This is a scam. I believe that they are associated with another scam outfit called MGM Universal timeshares. They ripped off an elderly family member of ours. Either way check the Better Business Bureau for either of these crews and they have an F-rating and an "ALERT" out on them. If you see any testimonials for them they  are put there by their shills.

received a call from them wanting to buy my timeshare. Offered me $22,500, all I needed to do was pay $1,800 closing costs. Seemed way to good to be true, Didn't bite on that one. Told "Jose" that I planned on keeping my timeshare. He said OK and hung up.

These people want information on timeshares.  They are a scam.  They want you to pay closing costs up front and then when they get your check you will get a call from them saying the buyer backed out.  This was told to me by Sell My Timeshares.

SCAM.....SCAM....SCAM.

I have not only received regular voice mail messages from these timeshare people but this time they even left a text to "please call 503-914-1313".  Are you kidding me???  I am also on the Do Not Call list.  Next time they call I plan to actually answer and tell them to leave me alone.

Rick from Universal Timeshare called me and before he had the opportunity to make their usual speech I informed him that I was on the Do Not Call list and told him to never call again as I was filing a complaint about their disregard for my privacy.

We got a call from this number yesterday afternoon and let the service handle it.

The sexy woman with a deep voice wanted us to call back.

What is interesting and a little scary about this and a few other recent area code 503 calls is we have/had no relatives nor friends in Oregon until recently.

A friend recently moved to the Eugene area and called to reconnect and let us know his number about two weeks ago.

Since then we have had 3 area code 503 calls from thise scam artists.

A similiar thing happened with a friend at a new number in Floriduh earlier last year.  Time share scam artists were the culprit then.

Now we have Comcast phone service and earlier last year we were getting hosed by AT&T.

A few months ago, my wife had a class mate from her college days (decades ago) calling from Virginia to try and get her to come to their reunion this year.  That triggered scam calls from Virginia and nearby NC, and again the culprits were mainly time share scam artists.
