These people have been calling almost every day this week, if Ihappen to answer the phone there is no one there.  Tried calling number back, but no answer.  After reading some of your replies about entering a contest for new vehicle or $50,000. I now know why I am getting these calls  I put my info in a drawning last Saturday at the German festival in Choctaw, OK.  Since it was suppose to be from one of the dealerships here, thought it might be ok..Won't make that mistake again.

They just called me 5/27/2010 12:50pm.  When I answered and said "Hello?", they didn't say anything, then I said "Hello?" again, and I heard a female voice with an asian or mexican accent saying "Hello?", then she hung up immediately.  Then I went to this site right away to see if it was a scammer, and sure enough I see it is. So, I won't be calling them back.  The person acts like you got disconnected and they want you to call them. Don't.  Can't the phone companies monitor this crap and after enough of these posts, report the number as a scammer and warn or fine them or DO ANYTHING??? They keep doing this because they get away with it.

Southern Journeys Travel. I got a call saying I entered a drawing for a new Dodge truck. I supposedly entered this drawing last year (2009) at the Red Earth Festival.  So, if the drawing over a year  ago why haven't they drawn a winner yet? BECAUSE ITS A SCAM TO GET YOU INTO THEIR OFFICE TO LISTEN TO SOME BS VACATION DEAL. Anyway, the woman wouldn't give me a number to call back but she said we were guaranteed several other prizes if we can up to Tulsa to listen to BS about some vacation deals.

And I hate Dodges, so I can't believe I would even sign up to try and win one.

How can I stop these calls?  To what agency can I report them.

They call my house several times a week and leave no message. I turned them into the National Do not call registry and encourage everyone else to also.

The caller breathed into the phone when the recorder came on, said nothing and hung up.  They have called twice.

I never answer, I am being harassed by the number.

Sojourner just called 10/5/10 to advise that we were in the finals and tried to set up an appointment.  They have a booth set up at the Tulsa State Fair and you alledgedly have a chance at the T Rex cycle or $50,000.  The lady was very cordial, but wanted to set an appointment for us to view "discounted vacations".

I may be mistaken, but I think they can get around the Do Not Call List because you/we have signed up at some event.  Probably the small print states they can call us with more information on winning the car, etc.   Hopefully, they will eventually stop calling.

For two weeks now they've called at least twice a day. I don't answer, but finally got tired of it and wanted to call and ask to be removed from their "call list" or whatever it may be. I got a recording that says something about her being in the reservations department but no word on what company the reservations are supposed to be through or anything else. I'd just really like for them to stop callng me altogether because when i'm at work and my cell rings, I'm thinking it's one of my kiddos needing to get in touch and I rush to pull it out to see that it's this person AGAIN!!! You've tried for TWO weeks and havent got an answer, so when do you give up? I will give them this, they are determined!!!

I have received several calls from this number, but no message is ever left.  When I call back it rings numerous times and then a recorded voice announces that this is an answering machine and to please call back later.

Just got one on my cell- I have NO idea why they would be calling me.  If they persist I will not only report them to the FCC, as my cell is also on Do Not Call, but I also made a super-loud air horn from a plastic pill bottle, balloon and stiff straw, as shown on a YouTube video.  Usually one blast to the ear of the caller, and they never try again.  XM Radio was the worst, like a stalker!!  But, the trusty air horn worked like a charm  :)  Other than that, if I'm feeling especially sadistic and bored, I answer in a weird accent and just repeat everything they say, or say something like "you want to buy me a car??" over and over.

This is Southern Journeys they will try to get you to sign up for a vacation package for about a total of $20,000 out of pocket for 18 trips ($9000 package price plus other “little” fees on each trip and taxes, etc).  The trips are only accommodations, you pay your own airfare food and what not.  My wife and I signed up for the $50,000 prize or a car at a Jazz fest they called us and told us we were one of the final 150 people in the drawing.  they said that we "won" a $75 visa gift card a $20 gas or Wal-Mart card and 300 chances to win the Oklahoma lottery, all we had to do was go listen to their presentation, it was not required to buy anything.  We decided to go listen just for the $75 gift card.  It wasn't really a high pressure pitch but they did do the bait and switch and tried to give us a "free cruise" instead of the money.  Upon questioning them on it they tried to get us to go into a quiet little room away form the people who were buying the package to explain to us that there was nothing they could do about the $75.  My wife left the room and used the word "SCAM" they quickly gave us the gift card and ushered us out the door.  Beware people, they are trying to sell you something... you most likely did not win anything and you may not even get what you’re promised for going to listen.

They have call 2 evening in a row will never say a word and when you call back you get a busy signal.. STOP calling

I get calls from that same number on my home and cell phones.  I get a fax sound when I call back.

This number calls everyday and I ignore it.  How can I find out who or what this is and get this number off my telephone.

I've never answered, and I don't call back. I heard ppl can steal ur phone info and make long distance calls from ur number if u call back. I'll keep checking to see if anyone figures out who this guy is

This person called me this afternoon around 6pm. Didn't leave a message, though. I don't have any contacts in Louisiana, so I know it's not anyone I know. Wondering how they got my number.
