called at 10am, when I answered the other end hung up immediately

i didnt even pick up, who the f is this.

have seen this number a few times; area code is NM.  Most recent is 1010AM EDT on 5/27/08.  I did not pick up - no vm left.

This is 1800flowers.com.  They were calling me because I placed an order and (again) they failed to deliver it, but charged me.  When you place an order they require you to give the phone number of the recipient.  It may be that someone sent you flowers and they were calling to confirm you were home for delivery.

DHB's comment sounds like the most logical,  This number called at me at 11:53 p.m., Saturday night. It was a lady saying asking if I ordered flowers. Told her I didn't. She said she may have received a crank call. I asked here where she was from and she said New Mexico. Told her I was in Ontario, Canada and said if someone ordered flowers and gave my number, it was definately a crank call.  She was nice and polite about it.
