Shane Adams called me several times stating that I have defaulted in a pay day loan in the amount of 200.00 and he also had my personal information......yet he could not provide who the loan was through or when it took place......he has demanded information that I have refused to give and has thretened my job as well as informing me that I will be arested and have to pay over 5000.00 in fees.....I called back and gave him my attorneys number this is a scam please do not let these people scare you

I recieved this same call today on both my cell phones and my work phone I swear I don't know how these people got my information but I am placing fraud alert on everything I have....

Same thing happened to me.  Guy said his name was Chris Jones.  I called the number back but kept getting an automated message.  After reading these posts I will not be trying anymore.  Thank you all for the information.

Oh yeah, and the name he used was Shane Adams - I see he has used this name before.

I just got a call on my work phone saying I am being sued for a Cash Advance that I never took out...! He had my info - and wanted me to pay 898.00 to settle this out of court, or risk loosing my job and having fines upwards of 5000.  After some searching and confirming - this is an absolute scam...  He actually tried to call back, and boy did I let him have it.  Do not give these people any info.

I received a call at my place of employment from a man claiming to be from a law firm, and saying that there were legal actions against me, and that I was going to be arrested tomorrow if I didn't give him my personal information and my lawyers phone number.  I told him I was at work and that I didn't have that information and would appreciate it if he stopped calling, and then I hung up.  He called back less than 2 minutes later and demanded to speak to my manager, or HR person and told me I would face serious consequences if I didn't comply...I told him that if he called again I would be calling the cops to file harassment charges...and the phone has been quiet since.  He said his name was Harry Wilson, and he sounded chinese.

also leave a message, sounds trying to scared me the way his tone voice, his name Chris Jones who need a return call of 505-515-0146..bull s @%$#!!!

a man names "Mark Davis" who does not speak very good english calls and leaves a message stating it is very important and a breach on my social security number.  leaves a number in new mexico 505-515-0146 - says God bless and hangs up.
