They called about an old paydown loan I had.  First I heard from a process server with a restricted number telling me to call these folks.  So I called them and unless I paid money, the process server would come with a warrant as I defrauded a financial institution.  I was scared to death.  I closed the card the money was drawn from and I gotta admit I'm still scared cos the last payment is due tomorrow.  I feel stupid as well.  They never sent me any paperwork.  There is a United Mediation Services but it's not these guys.  Everyone sounded American and not Middle Eastern btw.

I also got a call from  a Mr. Rubenstein. He claims he works for United Mediation Services. When I attempted to ask the person who answers the phone at the 855 769 9894 phone number, they run you in circles about any public information concerning where the company is located and with what city they are registered in. I spoke to several individuals inquiring for a mailing address of which they would not provide nor are they affiliated with any BBB in any city whatsoever. He also claims that they don't have a website . He only eludes to that they are working for a network of attorneys concerning debt retrieval. He also says that the company itself has no attorney to contact concerning the company itself. After going in circles with this individual of which no relevant information was retrieved, he hung up on me. This smells like a bonafide SCAM!!!!!!

Received a call from this number, caller left message to contact Mr. Rubenstein back regarding check fraud files against me with my account with First Star Bank.  I have never had an account with nor done any business with First Star Bank.  Mr. Rubenstein also called several other people, 1 of whom I dont even know but gave them my name and number he was trying to reach me at so they called me.  He was extremely rude to all the people he contacted.  I called him back and told him I wanted it in writing and not to call me and he told me "that is not how it works" and that I had to give him my information.  When I refused he kept cutting me off and finally told me 'good luck with the judge" and hung up.  He also would not tell me who he worked for.
