I get calls from this number at least 3-4 a day and I do not have a Capital One card.....WTF....

Called did not leave a message at 7:46PM.  If it is Capital One, they ought to call during business hours.  The Company phone is forwarded to my cell phone.

I get a recording in SPANISH saying "HOLA, blah blah blah... CAPITOL ONE".  I never had a CC with them so don't know why they keep calling my damn house every morning and evening!

There is software out there to block these calls. If you can not pay these ass-holes right now due to hardship. Pick up and hang up your phones on these ass-holes.You do not have to deal with this!

*Linda* just called me too! They must really have a great opportunity going thru Capital One.. one that would hardly put a dent in my financial woes, I presume. However that doesn't stop the harassing calls several times a day.

QUIT CALLING THIS NUMBER

My wife gets calls from multiple numbers, all with the "Linda... with exciting opportunities from Capital One..." message.  She's had the cell number for only eight months and has received collection calls looking for two people who must have had the number before my wife.

When this happened with another company last December, we had to tell them that the people they were looking for no longer have the number they're calling and to please take the number out of their system, but it did finally stop the calls, and we have to give them any personal information.

all you have to do is tell them to stop calling and by law they have to. and if your paying something each month even if its a $1 they cant touch you.

I literally just got a new cell number about an hour ago and I've already received 2 calls from stupid Capitol One. Thing is I don't even have a credit card...Whoever had this number before me must have skipped on their payments. Ugh..

I switched to a different cell phone number and Capital One called my new number over and over again from different numbers even though I'm not a customer. I emailed webinfo@capitalone.com and nicely explained to them what was going on and gave them my number. I didn't expect them to do anything but they emailed me back saying my number is off the list and I haven't received a call since!!!!

If i get the the real Linda or even an american on the phone they'll get PAID!!

I use google voice. Works like a charm. Once they call the first time, then you mark them as spam. If they call again, then they get a recording that the number has been disconnected and is no longer in use.

I have no problem with someone calling me occasionally. My rule is that if they abuse the privilege of having my phone number, which usually means if they call me more than once every few days, then they get marked as spam and they have lost the privilege.

CAPITAL ONE THEY CAN CALL ALL DAY,I TURNED MY RINGER OFF COMES ON MY TV. TOO BAD  DO THEY THEY THINK PEOPLE WILL ANSWER THE PHONE,THEY SHOULD KEEP UP WITH WITH THE PROGRAM,WITH CALLER ID  GIVE ME A BREAK. THE MORE THEY CALL THE LESS CHANCE I WILL ANSWER THE PHONE.

I feel the same way they keep calling me but I don't have the money to pay right now and if you do answer they expect you to pay on the spot.  So any calls from ph numbers I don't recognize are being ignored.  I hate doing it and not being able to pay but I agree The Economy Sucks!!!

Creditor harassment is WRONG so you can shove your "they are just doing their job" where the sun doesn't shine. Remember that Adolf Hitler's men were "just doing their jobs" when they murdered all those people.

I answered as I have an outstanding balance with them, however the lady could not speak proper english and could not understand me even after I repeaded twice..I just hung up.

Not sure if it is Capital one, they called me 9am sunday morning, I spoke with them last week telling them that I am filing for Bankruptcy, they still call...........Yes they have also called from severl different #'s at very eary hours.

Capitol One bugging me to pay my bill

They call all day long from different numbers.They even use individual peoples numbers.That seems wrong.

its not wrong.... you should expect calls if your bill goes unpaid. They are just doing their job. When we sign up for the cards they get our info ... they give us credit we give that "option" up.

I'm not preaching I get the calls too.... I just expect them. :)

If you don't have a capital one card, i'd suggest checking into your credit ... i got the 508-209-2334 # calling me now, and yes they've been using different #'s on me too, yes i need to pay them, and i expect their calls... until i can pay them though, i wont be anwering anyone that isn't listed in my phone :D  STUPID ECONOMY! ahha... just kidding but i'd check your credit score to see if someones got a cc in your name... !

They called me and I called them back. Told them I have had this number since May 2007. Looking for someone names Lashawna. Told them my name and even gave them my SS# on the automated part and they said no records found... EXACTLY. Man said it would be 24 hours and the calls should stop.

I am getting the calls too, the one time I did answer the person could barely speak english much less understand it. They've outsourced to another country, so what I did say the person could not understand what I said.

Its CAPITOL ONE.  As I was just laid off and the work I is going to be non existent for well over a year and a half as its all going to India or Mexico with none coming in to the state of Oregon bankruptcy is the only answear.

Capitol One outsources 97% of their jobs to INDIA.. IF you don't have these guys stay away from them and find a company who hires US ONLY.
