I do not have On-Star. Call came to landline in my office at 9 am on Saturday. No message. This is a nuisance and the company should be informed.

Received a call today from 972-372-0283 from a man named Carlos Ramundo (SP?). He left a voicemail on my cell phone about a court summons. He also called my employer and left me a message on my work phone with the same details that I would be served in 72 business hours with a court summons in my county (he did name the correct county). I Googled the company name he stated Global Process Servers and there is a website. His number comes in from Plano, TX, but Google said the company is in Florida. I have handed this information off to my attorney and he is currently investigating the company. Not sure about OnStar, but this definitely was not them.  

So let me get this straight, if someone says STOP CALLING ME, and put me on your no call list, do you understand what that means.  STOP CALLING!!!!!!!  So what do I get a return phone call stating yet again that I will be put on there do not call list and will take up to 7-10 days to take effect, (Here is the good part), they then stated that in the mean time if you would like to renew your subscription you can call, blah blah blah, I replied well sure here is my new number and it is to my attorney because I am sueing you for harrassment, I have all the dates and times that you have called on the answering machine, even the phone calls that I have repeatedly told you to stop calling and take me off your call list.

This is Onstar. If you hit for example the emergency button they will call you under this number to make sure you are ok. If you don't respond they will dispatch the police to check on you.

This is an onstar # - I saw it on my cell & when I pulled up notes to see what info was available I remembered a friend was having trouble with cell phone & then got onstar to patch them thru to my cell.

It's OnStar. My mom just subscribed recently and accidentally hit the emergency button in her car which notifies onstar. They called her back on her house phone and this is the number that was on the CID. Obviously, it's the number they use to contact their customers. She has her own personal OnStar number for the car so when she wants to call or get calls.

This person called me at 520 am this morning.  I would never buy anything from a telemarketer and not one the wakes u up on a holiday weekend.

No big deal.  It was OnStar confirming that the system diagnostics I had requested determined that my unit needed a new backup battery and that it had been ordered for me.

I called  onstar, finally got through to someone that said he would take my number of the list. I said I was not on your list. He said whoever had my cell number before had onstar. So he took my number off the list. Now we will see if these phone calls stop at 1:00 am and beyond. So call and ask for some one in charge.

What if you have sync, and when you sync your phone to your Ford this stupid number calls you. What is up with that! Does sync and onstar use the same providers or what!

Ok, look, I have a ford with sync, I bought a new iPhone, I synced it with my ford. Not more than 15 minutes later I start getting these calls from onstar. It is so annoying. I wrote ford and complained, no reply but the calls stopped. Today I was car shopping with my son, we went to many dealership and I had my iPhone synced to my car. It just seemed so funny that the minute I parked at a lot for Gm, my phone start to ring and sure enough it this stupid number from onstar. I am so frustrated because I received a call just now from onstar fax machine. It is 1:14 am. Grrrrr. I think GM should look into this. Although I have a good phone plan many other are pay as you go and it cost many dollars for them. Petition is the way to go.

Hey I started having these phone calls after I paired my iPhone with my sync in my ford escape. I am very pissed because now I am recieving them every hour, last one was 1:30 am.  This is bull. I am going to change my phone number pair my phone with the new number. If it starts happening again, I know some kind of major problem is going on

In my case, this was a legitimate call from OnStar Customer Service following up on a service issue.  I didn't recognize the number and checked here.

My cell phone rings (at least 8 times during the past 10 days), I answere it and a data signal is all that I hear.  I call the phone number and a message states that is a no longer used OnStar phone line but it does give me a phone number to call and report the disturbance, an OnStar Customer Service number.  I call the number, report the intrusion on my cell phone and of course they want the phone number that it came from and then my name.  I will not give out my name because I feel that it is a hacker calling. Two nights ago I received a call from the number and a person ask if I was Mr. Smith.  I said no but I noted that they were calling me from the same number that had been a problem, 927-372-1723.  They hung up. Now I know that someone is trying to hack my cell phone. Last night I received a call at 3:27 a.m. This is getting anoying. What can I do?

I know that it IS OnStar because they just called about a problem I had transferring my Directions and Connections plan from my 2011 Chevy Cruze to my 2013 Buick Verano Turbo. It has taken TWO WEEKS to straighten this out NO THANKS to OnStar! The ONLY reason it was straightened out was because I called GM Corporate and asked them if there was ANY way that they could contact someone with OnStar that was IN the UNITED STATES! The GM lady was EXTREMELY nice and apologized for all the trouble I was having and said that she would escalate this with OnStar. It only took her 2 days to straighten this out! She will be calling me tomorrow to inform me of the results that I already know because OnStar called me after 7 PM tonight. It's so sad that GM sold OnStar and that it is now outsourced! I wish GM would buy OnStar back and bring the company back to the UNITED STATES!

While the number might be showing up as Plano, TX, it definitely sounds like ALL the other calls with OnStar in the past two weeks- poor connection, hard to understand, very loud etc. So I'm sure it's a call from OVERSEAS that is routed through Texas!

They called at 11:30 at night.  Caller ID said ON STAR.  I told the confused person that she was calling after Eleven of the East Coast".  She said "augh".  Again I repeated that you know you;ll calling people after eleven in the night".  She just uncomfortably hung up.

I keep receiving calls from this number in the middle of the night and it sounds like a fax signal.

Me too.  Have recieved about 5 calls so far and because I didn't recognize the number, always just let it go to voicemail and it leaves a long faxtone on my voicemail.  Last call was at 7 this morning, waking me from my sleep on a weekend which was the last straw.  I just added it to my blocked numbers list.  Suggest you do the same because it doesn't appear it's going to just stop.

My husband has been getting annoying calls with fax machine noise day and night recently on his cell phone from (972) 372-1723. I called Onstar at (877) 805-9074 this morning and demanded that my husband's number be removed from their call list. The fellow told me the number would be removed within 24 hours. Now we wait and see...

I get a call every night at 2:30 am with a fax tone.  I need to call onstar if it is them.  Or I'll just have Verizon block it internally.

i got this damn call several times on my drive home from school. They called my f****ng CAR. Everytime I call "yeah yeah we'll take care of it" but I'm still getting the calls.

972-372-1723 calls. WE've been gettinjg calls daily for about 3 days, mostly at night, notice the calls vary aat 2:52 am, 3; 53 am, 9:48 pm ... all mostly in the 4th quarter of the hour and all ties of night. The fax signal comes when we try to answer.  It must be ON Star from previous posts.  I hope calling the customer servicer hleps, this is ridiculous.  We can land on Mars, but OnStar can't control its phone calls and no one seems to be able to stop it.

That number is used when On-Star calls you ... If you have On-Star on your car you can hit your telephone button and tell them that someone from On-Star seems to be looking for you.   I am just a customer of theirs ... not an employee ... and that is all I know about the number.

We are experiencing same issues.  We are onboard with the idea of a class action lawsuit if that is the only way to get them to track down the source and stop the harrassment,
