I rec'd a call yesterday, 06/06/11 by a middle eastern accented man named Attorney Alex Smith (cause that isn't common... ) stating that he was trying to reach my half sister.  He stated that if she didnt call him back- I WOULD BE FACING legal action, cops will be waiting for me.  He said, "she big trouble, she use you as a reference"  (bwwwwhahahahha!) but did not say what reference to what and left the number, 510-214-8906.  Then repeted again, if she didn't call back, i would be faceing legal action, i would lose my job- and I would be arrested.  So naturally i called my sister- cussed her out like, WTH. She called the guy back and he gave her the same spill that the other posts are reading... she will be arrested- she has a warrent- she owes them money- and even went as far as set up a payment plan with them for Friday.  Said it was for a payday loan she got online... but here is the thing.  She never got a payday loan online AND she just got out of jail like a week ago for out standing warrents... bwwwwwwhahahhaha- really???  SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!!  I told her that she better not even wire them F's a dime!  Today- they will be getting a call from me.  And boy- i can't wait to tell them how I FEEL... you done F'd with the wrong samoan yo!

I have been receiving harassing calls from this number about being sued for some money deposited into my account.  I do not know how all my information has been obtained by this person.  They have threatened to call my employer.  I am so sick of these calls.  They never can tell me what company they are calling from

This number keeps calling me at work saying they are the police, lawyers, legal department.  They have the last 4 of my social security number.  Who do I report this to?

I got a call from these jokers today threatening my family and my emplyer by being arrested. They said the police were already on the way...I owed a huge debt and such. They calimed they were attorneys, so I played along and asked for a bar# number and what state they were registered in? They gave me bogus information. I told them that they were a scam and hung up......
I reported them to the police again.........Always look up numbers you do not know and voice messages that they leave are always of an indian accent.

Received call for my daughter today.  She doesn't live with us.  Since they work on getting somewhere with each call I decided to try to keep them on the phone as long as possible without giving any informaiton.  I told the first and second guy after they delived their schpiel I didn't under stand what they were saying.  They put someone with good English skills on the phone and I kept asking them questions about who they were and what it was about.  I was on for about 5 minutes and hopefully it will result in them not wanting to waster there time again soon or someone else not being called during that period.

A gentleman by the name of Shawn William called my place of business and left a voicemail stating that I needed to call him back asap.  He has a heavy foreign accent and I could barely understand him.  He left his phone number 510-214-8906 and stated that I had to call him back immediately.  He stated that if I did not call him back there would be nothing that he could do for me and wished me good luck.  This is ridiculous.

I got the same basic call as all of the others.  Speaking in an unintelligible manner.  I relayed the message to a family member for which it was for and they hung up on her.

I get it seems like 100 calls a day from these people. What can I do to get them to stop calling?

I got a phone call from this number and they told me that thay gonna take me to court if i dont give them fu****g money....these all are scam.......Dont give them attention......

I recieved calls from this numerber they say the same thing to me.  I would like to know how they got my ssn and cell phone number,  They threaten you with arrest and tell you that you may lose your job.  I requested for some kind of paperwork they cannot provide.  Any legimate collection agency will give you the detail and the company you owe.  Also, the will not threat you with an arrest.  Everyone that calls have diffrent names and numbers.  This need to be stop  Becareful do not confirm any information with them.

I received the same phone call. They told me I was gonna have an arrest warrant and I was gonna get charged with all these different offenses. But the strange thing is they had my address, the last four of my social and my email address.

I have been receiving the same calls from 510 214 8906.  Some Paki calling me telling me "Im in serious legal trouble, and if I dont pay all he can do is pray for me and wish me good luck".  Today I got tired of it, and freaked out on him.  He told me he was calling the sheriffs dept on me, and I was going to be arrested, and he asked me were I was because the police were onthe way.  I asked him what the debt he was trying to collect was for, and he couldnt answer me.  I cursed him out and hung up.  I recieved a voicemail later stating that I had 30 minutes to respond or my "file" was being forwarded to the sheriffs office.  I called the number back and was greated by the same Paki saying "attorneys office" as if it was a pizza parlor.  I asked what attorney and he gave no answer just stated spouting my personal info.  I hung up.  Later I recieved a call on my caller ID labeled "911".  They hung up before I could answer it, and when I checked the caller ID later the 911 had disappeared, and been replaced by another 510 number.  I am wondering if there is any legal action we can all take for these threats and harassment.

This guy calls at least once a month. Different numbers are left. Meessage is almost the same that i must call immediately or have my attorney call regarding something??? Never does say why.
He even told my employer that they would be involved if I didn't call.

Did anyone else have the same problem with them having all your information.

I got a call from 510-214-8906 and they said that  was going to get served at my job or home with papers for an arrest warrent. if i did not pay them, the man that i spoke with had a indian acsent, but his name was shon richard, yeah right. they faxed me a form for my credit card infor, and that had a south carolina address on it. they are full of it.SCAM SCAM

Got a call for my sister on my cell from this Indian guy could hardly understand but said good luck if my sister did not call them.  Wonder how they got my number?

today he has called my house 4 times and my work place 2 times today, with the thing as b jones. only this time he involved some friends names, i think that this has something to do with face book, i dont know for sure but i would make sure that your phone numbers are not on you facebook to contact you, because he will call with the same thing. his name this time, was scott miller.

I have had the same experience as you all have had too. The caller left a message and said he was Max Powell and that he was with a law firm. He stated that I needed to call him back immediately because he was the only one who could help me, and that if I did not call back all he could do was wish me luck with the events that were about to unfold. He too had a heavy indian accent and sounded as if he was calling from a call center. When I dailed back the phone number it has been busy everytime. He has also called my employer insisting that they put me on the phone. The caller ID was 510-214-8906 and then today they called and the number was 914-961-8518. When the second number came up and we answered the phone we told them we were going to report them to the State Attorny's office and the hung up, when we dialed back about 30 minutes later the number was disconnected.

my husband got the exact phone call today and it happened just like b. jones described. they wished him good luck if he didn't give them a call back. he told them they were a scam and immediately hung up and when he called back and asked to speak to the same person he had miraculously disappeared. I don't know what this is but if anyone figures out how to stop it please let us know. thanks.

Caller left message on my cell and work voice mail.  There was a lot of noise in the background, as if in a large call center.  The caller had a foreign accent, so with the noise, it was very difficult to understand what he was saying.  It sounded like he said there was some sort of case against me that would be executed tomorrow morning, and something about the only way to be safe was to call him back because he was the only one who could help me.
