Got a call this morning on my cell.  A southeastern Indian voice said she was calling from "Windows" about a virus on my computer.  What a blatant scam.

Block ALL calls from the 305 area code--the code of scammers!

this number called me at 8:44 am and the caller id said Monroe WA I did not answer because at that hour I knew it was some type of scam

Just received a call at 10:23am from this number.  I did not answer and they did not leave message.  I called the number from a landline and no answer!!!!!!!!!!!   GRRRRRR I hate when this happens.

Received a call from Bank of America as the others above stated, but I do not have a card with them either.  Can't this number be blocked or BOA check into it and get it blocked.  I too am on the DNC list.  

Received a call from 360 863-4742.  I would like to be placed on the Do Not Call list

Just received call from this number on my cell phone.  It said it was a "Washington" call.  No message left.

Just picked up a call from this #.  No one on the other end, no recording, nothing.

I answered the call and a recorded message said I had the "opportunity" to lower my credit card rate to 6%.  The recorded message did not say which card company it was.  I pressed one anyways to investigate. A Indian woman said she represented Chase, Bank of America, and Capital One.  I'm positive on the first two but she was talking so fast I didn't quite catch the third.  She asked if my balance was over $3,000 as it had to be to qualify.   I said no and she immediately hung up. This is a complete scam don't give them any information.

The caller ID said "Bank of America" and had this number. It was a recording about my BofA credit card, but I don't have a BofA credit card or any accounts at all with BofA.

Complaint filed with FCC because it's actually an illegal spoofing technique.

just called did not leave a message don't even have a bank of amercia credit card and don not want one crooked bastarts

Just got a call from this number but didn't answer.  I'm also on the DNC list, but they obviously don't care.  Glad I didn't answer after seeing the posts here.

I answered this call as it is a business cell phone and I often get calls from unknown numbers.  The recording stated they were a credit card service provider and offering an ability to lower my credit card interest rates to something like 2.x%.  You have to press 1 to talk to a live rep and 2 to be taken off the list.  I pressed 1 so I could inquire about why and how they got my number and it was some Indian dude who I could barely understand.  I asked how they got my number and he said that I am the one that pressed 1 to get to him.  I stated that yes, I did that because I wanted to know how he got my number... and he hung up.  I've tried calling back multiple times and it's always busy.  Total scammer and please don't give them ANY information.  I am also on the national DNC list but as someone else states, it doesn't seem to matter, esp when they are illegitimate companies.  They don't abide by rules... that's a good hint it's a scam. !@#$%%#$@$  Frustrating!!!

Got a call from this number.  Called it back.  It just rang, no one answered.  After 1 minute i hung up.

Received call 3 hours ago - no message left - busy when I called back.

Just got a call in L.A. from this number, as I did not recognize it I ignored it.  In the off chance it was valid, I called back from another phone. It turns out this number is ALWAYS busy so I'm guessing this is a new one used by a telemarketer.

BTY, my phone number is on the DNC list, not that that seems to matter anymore.......
