They called me too no message, no reply when told them they were on suspicious caller list

Got a call from this number on my cell. Did not answer. Called it back on a different number. No answer. What is going on?

Got at call from this number - no voice mail left....

I got a call 3 minutes ago from this number too.  I used fonefinder.net and discovered it's an AT&T number.

I didn't call the number back; I never do that with people I don't know.

The person didn't leave me a message.  Maybe it's a campaign person?

This is just the latest in a long string of suspicious calls. Why does Verizon not provide incoming call blocking?
