This person that called from the number 510-373-3863 tried to verify account information on my credit card. I hung up and called my credit card company, they stated that the call did come from them so I reported them to the fraud department with all the information.

Received a call this morning asking for the owner of the company by name. Informed called I was the office manager and made all financial decisions. Really wanted to speak to the owner. Said they were calling to be sure our visa/mc machine was compliant with the new regulations which began jan 1, 2009 regarding identity theft and had we received some questionaire in the mail. Caller informed me a lot of the businesses with my zip code had not received the questionaire and that it was very important that our machine was in compliance in order to avoid government fines. Caller stated a rep would be in our area the next day to walk us thru the complaince of our machine. I was suspicious and told caller I would contact my visa/mc provider to see if such regulations existed/ Caller said I should do whatever I thought I should do and hung up on me.

They also called me and said it was MANDATORY that they come and check our pc's for credit card fraud and to maintain PCI compliance our I could get a fine for not letting them do this. I told them I would call my credit card companies to ckeck this out and I am on the do not call list I also reported them to it and told them what they said. I think they are a fraud BEWARE

I was called by this company today.  I own internet business selling motorcycle products.  She asked for me, but could pronounce my name correctly. I said "yes this is Bill", she identified herself (her name I can't remember) and said she was with the merchant accounts department of Payment Systems.  I said I was interested and her reply was, in a rather indignent tone, "you're not interested in what?".  I hung up.  I detest solicitors!

Got a call from (510) 373-3863.  No one spoke!

I just received a call from this number at the company where I work.  We are a general contractor, and I was on phone relief for the receptionist who had gone to the post office.  I answered and no one said anything...so I held the phone for awhile and they finally hung up.  I, of course, dialed *69 and got the phone number to look up on the net.  I am not certain, but imagine our company is associated to Dunn and Bradstreet.  They should NOT be selling phone numbers to ANYONE!  I'll swear! Can ANYONE be trusted these days???

No Answer, I called back from an other line and got a voice

leave full name and phone # so they can call back.

Very annoying, to receive calls with no one on the other line to talk to.

Received call on 2/12/09.  Caller asked they reached a corporation.  I asked who was calling and they hung up.  Called back and left a ranting message for them.

I got a call from this number at work. I answered and when they guy asked for someone who no longer worked here, the guy then asked my my age and if he could get my cell phone number.

When I called 510-373-0223 they said that they are OCS and I told them to call my attorney he told me to give my attorney his name and number and have him call him and I said no you call my attorney and to stop calling me at work. Tom William Senior Attorney is who is calling me. what the hell is this??

We receive calls all the time from "Payment Systems" and they want to talk to the "Owner". we dont have caller ID so i dont know the # but its really annoying when you are trying to do business and keep getting calls. i told the girl that i would take a message and she said she would just call back later.  i tell her that everytime.

Got another call from these people again today. Asked for me by name and said they had someone in my area to demonstrate their "full line of new products." Before I could tell him I wasn't interested, he continued on something about checks and credit cards. I just hung up on him.

i came home from school with a missed call i called back to ask if someone wanted to speak to me and no one answered. i found out that they were a girl by there name or it was a boy with the same name but im not going to put the name i heard

Like some of you, this number called me at work.  The gentleman I spoke with asked to speak with my boss who was not in.  When I asked to take a message the guy told me he'd call back in the morning and hung up.  I called back and received some ladies' voicemail box.

Sorry. The call DID NOT come from my card company.

Call comes in to 3 of our 6 lines at our business at once. We use DNB, so we'll file a formal complaint to them as well as the FCC and BBB. For now, they are blocked via our PBX @ our office.

In response to "MBAWoman - 2 Sep 2008" I also ordered products from Vista Print about a month ago. Maybe just a coincidence, but I began to wonder about them after immediately being bombarded with email "offers" right after placing the order. Now I'm getting these BS phone calls, too. Hmm.

I answered this call.  Caller grunted a couple of times and hung up.  I called the number back and seemed to be referred to a mailbox.  I accessed that and heard an answer that I was supposed to leave my number and they would call me back in 7 minutes (unclear).  Did not get a repeat call from this number.

These people have called our office numerous times over the last few weeks and hang up whenever our assistant answers the phone.  Whne they don't there is no one to talk with, just dead air.  I called the number back and left a voice mail with someone whose voice mail seems to indicate a training company and/or payment services.  I told them to put me on the Do Not Call list and that I would report them if they called again.   We also have a policy against doing business with unsolicited vendors, since so many of them are fronts for scams.

They called me today. Rang once, I didn't pick up.

Just got a call also.  I could hardly understand what the person was saying.  She asked for the owner and when I told her that he was not in she asked for the person who handles our "merchant" accounts.  Played dumb and told her I did not know what she meant.  She then asked for the CFO.  I told her that person was in a meeting.  She said she would try back later and hung up.  I will not waste any of the executives in our firm's time with this.  They will not get through as long as I am the "gate keeper."

A friendly gentleman called from this number trying to get a salesman to stop the next day to help me save money on my processing. I said no and do not call back, then hung up. When does it end? Every day, 2-3 times per day. I am sick of it!!

got this call from 510-373-3863. Called it and got a message from Encore Payment Systems. Neat thing was that I was allowed to leave a message. I left a message that said we were coming to get you, and we were going to give them a Clevland Steamer with a sinaster laugh. Mu hu ha ha!!. It's not over till the fat lady signs. Oh qua tansin wa!! These nuts call once a day, same scenerio. Its a scam to get your credit card info and any other info you give them.  Had one of these "call centers" busted in Vegas last year for doing the same thing. Wake up folks!

I got a call from this number and a woman in a sultry voice asked me if I wanted a Cleveland Steamer. I said, "WTF is a Cleveland Steamer?" Then she asked me if I was a cop. For a joke I said yes and then she said something in Spanish (rather angrily) and hung up.

They just called me today and said my rates with my credit card processor are going up.  They wanted to see my statement and show me how to reduce my costs.  Bull.  This sounds like a new scam game.

I saved their telephone number on my cell phone, changed it to a silent ring, and gave it the name "fraud"

BTW, they had my address and the name of the company i process credit card payments for my business.

This guy called me andasked me for the name of my company.  When I hung up he called back 4 times and hanging up on my answering machine.  Beware!
