Called 11.11.08 no sound - nobody. Most likely an automated call system for sales or getting fax numbers!

This number called me today, and some woman was on the line, and just kept repeating everything I said and finally hung up. When I called back the number they let it ring into voice mail and some guy said that they were "disconnected" and to leave our name and number after the tone....yeah right. UGH!

I am also on the DNC list.........Sane thing.... No one answers or hangs up.

CALL THEM, and threaten them with class action, as they ARE aware their service is being used to do a massive illicit campaign. I believe this falls under RICO.

got a call that hung up when I answered.  Don't know who the heck this is, after reading here, I'm gonna report it.

They called me to.  No was there just caller id says oakland,CA what gives

called today. unknown if forwarded from house to cell. number shows on phone. no message. deleted call.

No message left on message machine. Annoying!

Got a call from this number while I was away and Googled it.  No message.  Probably a scam.  Will recognize this number next time and ignore it.

I keep getting calls from this number but noone leaves a message.

There was a whole bunch of noise in the background like it was a call center or a party. The man said "California police youth activity charities" twice in a row. I told him we are on the DNC list.

Got a missed call on my caller ID a few days ago that said California Call on the caller ID. That usually indicates a cell phone number. When I Googled the area code, it said Oakland, CA. I don't know anyone from there or even been there before. I called the number today and just got a message that said, "this mailbox is full and cannot except new messages at this time."

Answered the phone thinking it was someone else. Male voice replied "hello" then hung up. Called the number back (510-764-4492) and received an answering machine with male's voice apologizing for the hang-up call. Left message telling them if I received another call from them I will alert the authories.

Need to know who's calling?

Got a call from this number 7/29/08. Called back, got an immediate message that mailbox was full and not accepting messages. I got a call from some home loan outfit the same day from the same area code. I think that is not a coincidence.

No reply when phone answered.

have received several calls from these annoying people!! the woman was soliciting for police charity in my area.  when i asked where she was calling from she hung up. when she called again i told her to put me on her dnc list, she said she would but just keeps on calling......where do i go from here?

CID says Oakland, cA,  Caller said a police youth activities charity.  May will be a scammer.

This number called me at 4:30 this afternoon and the outgoing voice mail stated, when I called back, if you got a call from us or was disconnected to please leave your info. and they will call back.  Who is it?  Anyone?

Called but did not leave a message.  I called back and a VM said sorry we were disconnected and to leave my name and phone number and they will get back to me.  Yeah, like I'm going to do that!  They did not say who or what they were.

There is a place on the other end of barrel for people like this.  This person needs to be tracked down and then the body needs to be lost!

I got a call from this number too.  Fax machine but no answer. Strange.

I got a call from 764-4992 earlier today.  Same as above, a fax machine and no answer.  Immediately after I got a call from 510 373 3869 with the exact same result.

this company calls several times a day and 7 days a week...i'm on the DNC list and STILL they call !!    when you call them,,,after 10-12 rings they said if you were disconnect they're sorry and to left a message...yea, right...i'm reporting this number right now!!!...i'm sick of this !!!!

Many calls on my answering machine, never a message.  When called tonight a man answered, I said take this number off your list, he hung up.

What gives?  I am on the national do not call list, how does this number get through?
