Got a call from this number today at 10:28 am, I wasn't by my phone so I missed the call but I tried calling back and heard the error that the number I called was disconnected or no longer in service. Maybe it's a government number. Sometimes if you get a call from a call center where they can make outgoing calls but not receive incoming you may get that message or at least in my experience. I've worked for 2 call centers and one was government.

That's easily answered. They record the message from a disconnected number onto their message machine and there you go.

Called at 5:01 PM, fund raisers calling before the dinner hour? Two other calls today from Number Unavailable. Possibly the same operation?

Also got a call from this number; left for voicemail, of which I get none. I called back, to find that the number is not in service or is disconnected.

Leaves no message, does not play a recording.
When I return the call I get the phone service error "you have reached a number that is no longer in service."
Odd. How do you make a call from a # that is out of service.
