Alumni donation collection

All 512 numbers go straight to my VM, but I just got a two-second message, which is sufficiently annoying. Apparently they're calling my parents' home on nights & weekends, too.

Probably best to alert the FTC to these scumbags.

I keep receiving this message almost monthly.  Never leaves a message. Very annoying. Don't have a good way to stop this annoyance. Have a go phone and costs me $2.00/call.

Class of '02 UT alum. Get this call all the time. Never answer it. At least now I know it's not Ed McMahon. Can someone please invent Call Destroy already?

Also got a call from this number this eve 5:55pm... left no message.  As a rule of thumb, I never answer unless i know who it is.  If they know me and it's important they will leave a message.  If not, then not important at all.

Got a call from this number in the evening, soliciting money. I am a UT alum, but it does not make sense that they have mu cell number. How did they get it?

Got a call from this number. I am a prospective student who was accepted. I was in Austin this past weekend. It doesn't make since for a current student to call "alumni" if I am a prospective student and haven't even attended yet. I didn't answer the phone call and no message was left

Let them call Mack Brown, the six million dollar man, for a donation...he has all our money.

They even call my work cell phone...what a hassle.  I have asked them to send me a pledge card to complete at my leisure, but they prefer high pressure tactics and want immediate results / credit card number.  Not interested!

Just got this call at 9:39pm! I didn't answer, they didn't leave a message. Caller ID said: UNIV TX FUND RA.  Neither my husband nor myself went to Univ of TX! I have no idea how we got on this list.

They're shaking the trees for money.

my MOM keeps getting these messages and she has never gone to UT at all!
when she answers, they hang up on her, and when she isn't able to answer they never leave a message.
this is getting really annoying, i wonder if it's a scam??

Just called me, didn't leave msg. I didn't bother to call back. I heard it's a company that's asking for donation for UT, DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY! GIVE TO UT DIRECTLY!

annual giving fund from UT - Austin, will call @ night to be sure to reach people. they don't leave messages.

haven't lived in TX for 8 yrs and just happened to be in Austin over the weekend...rec'd call tonight from this number, no message...sounds like it was an alum call and timing was a strange coincidence!

Get a call every two months like clock work on my cell phone.

They call over and over & won't leave a message. I told them to just send something in the mail and to stop calling my cell phone but they won't. I will never give another dime to UT beacuse of this harrassment. At least now I know not to answer any calls from any "475" number.
