This people called me few days ago and I went to the interview. They seem professional and their offices are nice but they do want to charge you for their services. I just think that they should tell you that there is money involved since they call to schedule the interview so it does not take you by surprise.

Bill, did your sister have to pay for THE's services? That is what I am trying to figure out.

I had just started my search and received the same call 6 months ago. I went down and heard what they had to say. I became a client and they helped me to find out how to transfer my skills from a semiconducter project manager to a similar role with an energy firm. It seems that all of these comments here are left by people who haven't even gone down to find out what they do.

Got a call from a Brook today at 512-476-2215. T.H.E. I knew I did not apply at such a company so I hit the internet and found this information from everyone. She sounded inexperienced or very young and just did not sound like a real place of employment. She just left a message and I am NOT returning it. It seems that those that "find" your resume online are always scams or those wanting you to sell something without any real solid employment opportunity. Really sucks how people like to scam those looking for a job. Thanks everyone for posting.
| Nothing solid to offer 2012-10-24 15:47:55 Unknown |
Brooke had nothing solid to offer. They got my resume from their network connections, she claimed. She said that one of their top Execs got a hold of my CV and wanted to interview me. When I asked who was that person and how did he manage to run into my CV -being so high-levelled and all- because, for one thing, I've not applied to THE (a transition of employment company, she affirmed), she was reluctant to answer. I inquiried about the specific postion this Exec had me in mind for and she said we had to start witn making an appointment for a face-to-face meeting first. I requested written data on their success rate, she responded they couldn't share that only based on my profile until they actually met me. Well, then I solicited info about THE to be sent to me via email. She promised they would deliver that to me NOW. I told her that when and if I get something of true value for me, I'd call her back.

Got a call from a person who identified herself as Rachel from T.H.E and said she was calling regarding my resume. When I said I had not sent any resume to her or this company, she said they worked based on referrals received. Weird! I told her not interested - thanks.

yes the lady who clearly had my resume was very junior and did not give a lot of detail. She said the company was THE

Just received the same phone call only they said the name of the company was T.H.E. (Texas Headquarters of Employment) but they're not state affiliated. I asked what position they had open and she said "what we'd like to do is have you come in for an exploratory meeting so we can discuss all your options since we specialize in professionals who are transitioning into new jobs.

i received a call saying my resume was reviewed by the executive team and began to set up an appointment to come for an interview. I asked who this company was and she said the name of the company was T.A.T located downtown. She told me they looked up my information from a job fair I was supposedly at, by the way I have not been to a job fair in over two years. Then she said she would email me the particulars time, address etc. and went over my email address which she had correct. When I got home to pull up the information there was no email. Sounds and feels very much like some kind of scam.

Got a call from a woman named Rachel from TAT about an interview and also left a different phone #and sounded too strange to pursue so I did not call back not a very good vibefrom this person.

I got one of these too. Since I am looking for a job I asked a lot of questions. She wanted me to come to their offices but I could not do it on the day she wanted so she said she would call back. I figured it was a con.

The woman that left a message said she was from T.A.T. and one of their executives had seen my resume and wanted to speak to me.
