Person (guy) called up asking for a guy named Doug Marsh (who we do not know). When we said we do not know this person and they have the wrong number, the man didn't seem to care and said that the sheriff or marshals were on their way...

got the same call guy said sheriffs were on their way to deliver warrants on behalf of Lauren Eddie. Told him I don't know anyone by that name he didn't care and hung up.

Got the same call...he is part of a bill collecting firm.
It is run by a very shady attorneys office.

Received the same message as JEJ. If the sheriff shows up asking I show I D because of these prank calls I will let you know.

Received same call as those before me.  This is the 5th time, same story same line, sheriff is on the way.
I talked to him like I was the DI and he was the first day recruit.  Didn't seem to make any differance he just kept to his line.  
 Wonder how many people they actually snag with this bull?

Got the same call that the sheriffs were coming to deliver legal documents.  Problem is that the person they wanted was not anyone who has ever had my phone number (in the last 10 years).  and they are from TX - I am in NC.  It's a big scam trying to frighten people.  Wonder if the sheriffs dept knows about this?
