the readout said "UPHOLD"  it was a male voice - said something like "America, are you aware of the tea parties going on around the world, ..against us? Take note today."
It seemed mildly threatening.

I got the same call tonight, very weird. Something like 'look around America & pay attention to what's going on'

I got the call from Uphold and this number a few minutes ago.  I answered and no-one spoke.  It's rare I picked up, but I wanted to tell yet another scam caller off.

WE RECEIVE CALLS EVERYDAY FROM 512-646-1430!  WHO IS THE CALLER??

I recieved a call from this number and the ID said Uphold. I answered the phone and no one was there. I'm on the do not call list.

I have received 4 calls from this number in the past few days and my number is on the Do Not Call list. When I pick up, there is no one there.

Sounds like it's probably a call to alert you that there are "Tea Parties" going on in your area. If you don't know what this means, it's probably a really good thing you're getting these calls! The Tea Parties are for ordinary folks who are scared to death about the taxes we are going to be paying after the pass of the latest "budget". You probably also received this call from what is known as a 529 Group. They are exempt from do not call lists so it doesn't do any good for you to complain.

same as other's, when i answered it was just a dial tone, too bad, because if it were an anti tea party nut,,, i would have gave him an ear full :)

I called back the # on the caller ID "512-646-1430" and a man answered. He said it wasn't his number and he hadn't made any political calls. Strange.

Just got a call today... A recorded message just like the first poster with no other details. A reverse lookup shows it as unpublished...

Phone rang twice.  CID read, 'UpHold'. My husband picked up the phone but no one said anything so he hung up.

I got the same phone call from a man with a deep creapy voice. i wanted to file a complaint with attf. "Watch" "Listen".It was a little too creapy. If you have a messege- find a better way to communicate it. I have a do not call on my phone and want to avoid creapy people like this.
