I feel your pain. I tried to chat with a representative and first time was cut off because he was too impatient to wait for me to finish my typing.  His name was shaun. Then a Kevin answered the next chat request, within a few seconds I typed my message and received a response that was rude and very unhelpful and no where near close to addressing my question so as I started to type another question (and they can see when you are typing back to them) verses waiting he ended chat again.  So I requested yet another chat and before I could even type 1 letter he saw it was me and disconnected the chat again.  THEY ARE VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.  i SENT HIM A NICE LON MESSAGE EXPRESSING MY FEELINGS ABOUT IT AND i'LL BE DAMNED IF WITH IN 1 MINUTE THEY CALLED ME PHONE. i HAVE YET TO LISTEN TO THE VOICEMAIL, BUT i WILL BE EMAILING THEIR SUPERVISORS CAUSE I AM PISSED!!!

I got the same, he didn't even say what company, but I had been interested in Hoover's services for my research business. Do you happen to know roughly what they are charging for their service? I don't want to call them back and get sucked in!

This is a number from Hoovers.com.
If you went to their website to sign up for a free trial, they are calling you to get you to started on the trial and ultimately, to subscribe to their service.
Their tollfree number is 1-866-704-3375.  You may want to call this number to tell them to stop calling if you are not interested in their service.

Same thing as Rachel.  I have no business.  They called around 8:15am and again at 11:15am.  I wouldn't be surprised if they call again in three hours.

"Hoover's Online" left a message in our general voice mailbox at my company for "Rod Patterson."  (We don't have anyone here by that name nor ever have) They said they were "responding to a request on their website regarding more information on salaries."

This caller or telephone system, calls our residence everyday, and never leaves a message or responds once the phone is answered.  Who is this caller and why do they persist in calling our residence?

Don H got it right.  I literally JUST got done filling out a form on Hoover's website when I was trying to track down someone's email address and they immediately called less than 2 minutes after I clicked submit. The number showed, but was not identified, which is not unusual on my cellphone since I don't have Caller ID unless it's already in my Phone Book.  It is now, so I can avoid the sales call next time. You'd think I learned my lesson with this.

I just got a call from this number. Since I didn't recognize it or the area code, let it go to message but they left none.

Will block it.

I got two calls from this number today, the first one left a message about some online business thing, second time I answered, they asked for someone named Peter, and I when I asked that they stop calling, the girl on the phone got quite defensive.
