It is a shame that Craigslist is turning to junk. All my listing get responses from scammers.

Got the same response from this number for my truck.  Has to be another scam of trying to get you to wire $ to some other state and you are stuck with bogus M/O or check

I posted a car on Craigslist and this person sends me a three page text telling me he is in the US Navy currently stationed in Hamilton, OH.  That he would send a pick up agent to come get the car once payment is made.  I smelled SCAM ARTIST from a mile away.  The way to identify them is when they write the word AM instead of I AM.....

I received an email via craigslist stating he wanted to buy my truck for his son for a surprise gift. The email from craigslist asked if I still had this for sale and if I did to text him at (323) 388-3799. I texted him yes that I still had it available and at 4 AM IN THE MORNING!!! he texts me back in a three part text...

**DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM!!!!!! I did not fall for it and just texted him back Sorry this is scam and I'm not falling for it!!! I seen you scammed people already. Don't text me again!

Received following message on July 21, 2013 as a reply to Craigslist ad: "Do you still have this listing for sale?? text me at (513) 275-9976.if you still have it... Thanks."

Must be some kind of scam since these comments are from all over the map--I'm in NE Indiana.  Scamme's phone is Cincinnati.

Same story. Receive a craiglist generated email asking if I still had my posting available and asking me to text him with an out of state number. I figured it was a scam.

Same deal. Im selling&a bike on cl and he emailed me and asked me to text him. I hate scum sucking people like this..do not talk with him!

No one is going to go across the country to buy a motorcycle on Craigslist.  Scam...

Replied to my add for my truck on craigslist used same line as boatforsale said instantly thought it was a scam and glad I could get conformation on here

Replied to Craigslist add said his name was Luke Garcia same story of on a ship buying for his son after his texts sounding of very poor english I figured was a scammer and didnt reply to him again.

Same deal here, he texted me. two days between texts. same marine tech story. I highly suggest not dealing with it

I got a call from 513-275-9976. He said he was interested in my boat because he wanted  to buy it for his son. He said he was a marine technician and always busy. He said I need not worry about title transfer and shipment because he would instruct the shipping company to handle this.

Same message for a wrecked truck I posted on craigslist.  I texted several times back and forth and he claimed to be a marine technician working offshore and his job had restrictions on phone calls.  Guy did not try to negotiate at all.  He asked for my email to send money to Paypal.  I believe he uses the Paypal angle to get your email address so he can hack into your personal identity.  Do not send him your email.

I got a call from thisnumber, request to buy my car that I post on Craistlist

Called about buying my truck and said he was in the service on board ship

This is another bogus spam number replying to Craigslist Ads. I'm not sure what the motive is but they are annoying.
