I hung u i't sureley a scam... Message is a robotized  woman voice in english only.

Hate those people, they should get arrested and put in jail ...

Just received a call from 1 604 909 8778 with an automated voice stating that I have won 100,000 air miles....it told me to press 1 (which I didn't) The phone call came in on my cellular phone, and when I called it from my house phone it was an automated voice stating that the # I called has been disconnected or no longer in service....People Beware of the Scammy B*****ds

Call was congratulations you've just won 100,000 air miles, press 1 to confirm and wait on the line.
Someone came on asked if I was over 25 and had a valid credit card to qualify for the air miles. I questioned why, when the first message said I had won the air miles, not qualified for them. He said I still needed to qualify, so I said yes. He passed me on to a 'cancun vacation rep' who wanted to know my name. I gave him a letter. He then asked about a credit card. I said why do I need a credit card to qualify for the 100,000 air miles I supposedly won?! He said just a moment and disconnected!

I called the number back, and received an operator saying the number had been disconnected. They must be 'masking' their outgoing display number.

she asked me for a credit card number, so I told the SEE YOU EN TEE to suck my D... and get a real job

is this another scam and how did they get around the Do NOT call list - we are supposed to be on the DNC list - how is it that these people keep being able to call?

You guys should all get registered on the national do not call list - on the CRTC website.

Got a call from 514-761-8585 (said it was from Quebec) and got an automated message saying I had won 100,000 rewards points from ..... sounded like Airmiles, however the electronic voice was not clear.  I opted NOT to press 1 because I don't want to get any sneak attack charges.

Why don't our service providers protect their customers from this kind of crap??

I got a call on this number saying I had won 100,000 Airmile and to press1. I would assume if I had actually won this that it would be a live body on the other end of the line and not a computeriized voice!

just got a call from this number - same thing won 100,000 airmiles.  but what do they get out of it???????

Just got this call today...no message but then found this site. Lame.

called posing with an automated: "Dear Air Miles Card holder, we are happy to let you know you are the winner of 100,000 bonus miles" press 1 to claim your prize"
ended up being a gimmick for a "vacation"

I got a call (to my work number) from this number on Feb 28, 2011 at 3:20pm. It said that I won 100 000 air miles and to press 1 to accept. I did that and got a person, but when I said hello, they hung up. Weird. SO, I looked up the number online and found out it's a scam.

Mar. 5/2011 at 11:45 AM this recorded message played when I answered the phone:  "Dear Customer . . . Air Miles . . . you have won 100,000 reward points . . ."  I did not press 1 to receive my reward!  This is exactly the same message I got on Feb. 10, 2011, and the Call Display number was 403-674-2323!  According to the Internet Search I just did, this 514-671-8989 number is in Pointe Claire, Quebec, and is supposedly Call-Net Communications, which Rogers bought out!  Can someone make sense of this?  I did report both the numbers I got the call from to our Government National Do Not Call List, but I won't hold my breath!

I received a missed call from this number. I didn't answer it because I didn't know who it was, and they didn't leave a message. so annoying!

They called my cell phone.  No message.

Pretty sure this call was a scam.  Automated message said I won 100,000 air miles, then I spoke to someone telling me I won a trip to Cancun.

I have had at least 2 calls from this number, claiming that I have won 1,000 air miles.  However, when connected with a live person he proceeds to tell me about a 'special travel offer'.  I have verbally asked to have them remove my phone number from their data base, but to no avail so far.  When I dial this number long distance a message stating that this number has been disconnected plays - obviously a fake.

Ha! The Canadian government stopping fraud! lol.. they can't stop immigration/disability/welfare fraud!! Why would this be any different?

Yeah, Like everyone one else got this call on both land line and cell.
Has anyone tryed calling the BBB making a report or the police?

Same just got a call - it seems they are 'war dialling' because a few mins later my wife with the same prefix on her cell got the same call.

Just got a call from this number. Am with Bell. Didn't bother answering. Never flew with Transat.

I got a call from this number less than five minutes ago, the phone rang once and that's all. I came on here to only to find out that the number pretty much does not exist. So, I don't know who it was. Let's hope they don't call again.
