A class action lawsuit is being considered against Mediacom for their likely illegal telemarketing activities.  If you are receiving (or have received) multiple nuisance calls from any Mediacom phone number and want to look into joining this possible lawsuit please email:

Please provide details (dates, times, originating phone number, number of calls received, etc.) in your inquiry.  The more details you can provide, the better.  The law may require you to take appropriate measures in attempting to contact Mediacom first to try to have these calls stopped, or in ensuring your phone number is on the "Do not call" list.  

Instructions have been provided in a previous post above about how to contact Mediacoms President (and other Execs), and I recommend this step first.  

Once you take appropriate measures outlined above, but still continue to receive these nuisance telemarketing calls, then please email us at:
mediacom.classaction@gmx.com to inquire about participating in this possible class action suit.

I sent a scathing email to the following people at Mediacom Communications:

(not sure who the other two are).  But I immediately received an email reply back assuring I will not receive any more calls from Mediacom.

They call once a day here on my cell phone then hang up immediately after I answer.

I dont answer as I do not recognize the number, They call several times a day. Uh get the hint! I am not anwering.

FINALLY ANSWERED THE ANNOYING NUMBER CALLING ME CONTINUOUSLY. AND THEY HUNG UP ON ME!

They have called me 3 times since noon. I never answer and I never will.

I keep getting call from this number to my cell phone.

I called the number back, listened to the recorded greeting, stayed on the line as the recording had instructed, talked to a representative and had my number added to their "do not call" list for promotional calls.

Did not answer due to unfamiliar number. Retrieved voicemail message from MediaCom trying to sell me something.

its mediacom trying to sell you cable and internet service..i try to ignore it cuz i dont have it listed as one of my contacts on my phone..they're even calling my cell phone!

Calls 4times a day and 2or3 times at night. VERY ANNOYING.
