This number just called me and I hit redial. I called it back and it says "we have captured the number you are calling from and we are sending it to the national do not call list". My caller ID reads LVR as well.

call came and did not answer answering machine got nothing there

This number just called my cell, I didn't answer and there was no message. I found this posting about it, so I'll be saving the number as a "Don't Answer"!

I have been receiving calls from this number for that last two day at least 5 times a day no one ever answers it is dead air most of the time or i will answer and them get hung up on What the heck is going on it is getting old!!!!The name LVR shows up on my caller ID

I get calls like these from various numbers. It's always the same , 2 - 3 rings and hang up. I am trying to figure out what these callers are trying to accomplish??

someone keeps calling from #515-369-5710 and gets annoying cause they never answer on the other end. I have a unlisted and block from telemarketers so they can't call me but they still do

I got this call i answered it the first time and it seems it was automated but they seemed to know i was a rogers customer instantly so I'm going to b***h out rogers about this.

This number called my cell last night, @ 9:41 pm.  I am in Canada also, and at that time of night, should only have been family and close friends.  How they ever got my cell number, I'll never KNOW!!!!!  I was just about to go to bed, when they interrupted me.

I hope some one does somthing about it soon. its annoying

Just got a call from this number.  I am in canada.  Didn't answer.
No one has my number, so they must be sequential dialing.

In 2 years since I have had my number I have not received one call from a telemarketer.
However last week I registered online with U-haul Canada to get a moving truck, since then this number as been calling me.
I am extremely protective with giving my number to anybody so this had me looking at the privacy policy of the U-Haul website, where they claim to not sell their information.

Damn you U-Haul!!!

A lot of credit collectors, and tela marketers try to get around the laws by calling from unknown numbers & out of state or out of the country numbers in hopes you pic up the phone.

These first calls are usually made from computer operated dialers.You can tell if it is a Dialer PC because 1.if you have a answering machine they leave no message, and 2.there is no one on the other end no matter how many times you say hello.

The sole purpose is to verify that the number is correct, and it record the time of day you answered so the collectors/solicitors can call back during that time of day.

Any one who hides behind such calles does not deserve to have the call received.
