Received call in pm hrs, did not pick up. My number is not listed.

I just got a call from them as well. Didn't know the number so I didn't answer and googled it. I don't know anyone in IA!

No voice mail.

I just recieved a call from this number on 9/10/2008.  the phone rung once and then nothing.

asked to be put on do not call list they hung up on me

Me too. I didn't answer it and it was the first call I've ever received from the 515 area code, so I knew something was up. I live in L.A., and have not purchased a new car for quite some time, so I have no idea why a car warranty business would be calling me.

seems to be telemarketing; why are companies free to interrupt our lives
without our being able to block them?

Have gotten the auto warranty calls from this number about a dozen time in the last 2 weeks.  I called the Jefferson Telephone Company in Jefferson, Iowa, based upon a telephone switch database which was a little outdated, and they actually switched me ove to one of therir technical people whom confirmed it is a spoofed number and that they were aware of it and trying to track down the people using it.  Kudo's to Jefferson Telephone Company - I hope they find the scammers and turn the info over to law enforcement.

Received this phone call at 11:33 am on 9/10/08 on my cell phone. I returned the call but Verizon Wireless said that my call could not be completed. This so called vehicle warranty place calls me every day between 11 - 11:30 am EST. The number constantly changes. So how are they supposed to rip people off with money if the scammer never answers the phone? What's the point in calling?

Just received this call...went to my voice mail.  No big suprise that is was a warranty services  call...how many phone numbers does this particular caller have anyway?

Received call this morning at around 9.16am CST. I am from TX. Didnt pick the call at the right time. They havent left any message. Not sure who they are.

Central florida 5 mins ago, I betcha it was the car warranty, I've been receiving this call for a long time like 3 or 4 weeks

Just called my cellphone.  Didn't recognize the number so didn't answer.  Have no idea how they got my cell phone number.  I have not given it to anyone but immediate family, who understand not to share it with anyone else.  They left a voicemail, but I won't retrieve it until after 8pm when the call is free.  Disgusting.

This spoofing has got to stop

I received a call from 515-386-8725 on my cell phone.  I didn't answer and they didn't leave a voicemail.  I am in Ohio.

Received the call from 515-386-8725 on my cell at 2:27 pm AZ time.  Was asleep & did not answer.  I have a patient at my hospital with family 3 towns away from Jefferson, IA.  Thought perhaps someone at the hospital had given away my cell phone number.  Tried calling the number back.  Number is now disconnected at 9:50 pm.

they called me today around 2:50. i didn't asnwer it since i was in classes. they call me often and have left messages. i talked to somebody after pressing 2 once and the person answered and i said how did my number wind up on here if i dont have car warrenty and they said they were not permited to give away that info and hung up on me and when i called back it was disconnected. i'm getting angry how can this be stopped.

I get calls from this number several times a week and i have been informed that it is a scam. Well it's gonna be a scam next time my phone goes off in class telling me that my car insurance is out of warenty. i pressed the 2 to speak with someone once and they hung up on me as well. I'm tired of these scams but they don't just use this number, i have been called from 302-336-7401 as well. sometimes it just shows up as private. anyone know a way to prevent it?

Receive a call at 5:04 pdt on 9/9/2008. Didn't answer. The call was to my Grandcentral.com number. They must be calling every number from 1 to 999-999-9999!

I am in  Nevada and just got this same call. But I didn't answer. Did not hear the company name but it was for HBO and satellite to get $50. rebate. etc.

We have received multiple calls on cell phones and home line from this number. When you call it back you just get a busy signal. It's some sort of a scam and I don't like it!

was wondering about this crazy number from out of nowhere. missed the call about an hour ago.  i guess i know not to answer IF they call back.

I am in Sunnyvale,CA. Just got this message, and reapting "all sales representitive are busy, please wait" then hung up. Scam.

Northern California. These guys called at 240pm PDT time. I didn't answer the call.
