My got a call on our cel phone from this number.  Our number isn't listed anywhere, so this must be a sequential dialing operation.

I didn't answer, Googled the number for fun, and found this site.  At first, I was very disappointed that we missed out on a free scooter.  But those were from 2010.  It looks like today, all you get is a free back brace.  It must be the economy.

I got a call from the number 516-224-0062. They wanted to know if anyone in the household was on medicare. If yes they could supply you with a backbrace,knee,and ankle braces. After taking some information and getting it wrong, I tried to tell them the right info. After being switched to another person and still being told the wrong info that I gave them, I decided that I was'nt interested and told them to forget about it. I was given the third degree. Why did you give us the information if you are not interested. I told the Indian woman that this was America and I had the right to change my mind. I did let her know the reason was because they were not professional. I gave them information twice and they still got it wrong. They didn't ask me about sizes or anythig. I called the number back to complain but could not get anyone.

Received an auto call from this number today, July 16, 2012, asking me if I wanted a backbrace, to press 1 for infomation. They called at 9am and again at 3pm.

Got a call from this number on my cell at 9:09 am, only identified as NY, USA.

We also received a call today from this number. Didn't pick up-caller id said "arthritis info". If we're on the do not call list, WHY are they calling? Isn't that illegal? Yes, we're senior citizens, but not ready for a scooter, or arthritis help yet!!

I noticed the dates of the reports here are mostly from 2010.  I received a call from this # today, June 22, 2012, so they are still at it, or are renewing their efforts.  It's still a junk call.  When are these calls going to be outlawed?

This number called - didn't pick up - identifying itself now as "Arthritis Info".  Must be medical-type telemarketing...

I got the phone calls too then I figured out if you call 866-246-7196, they will remove your phone number from the caller's list and stop the phone calls.

Call 888-556-7682, they'll stop the phone calls.

recorded message saying "medicare" and "power scooter".  Sounded like a white guy who really needed it bad.  Either that or he just got it.

on 9-1-10 @ 4:22pm that number came across my I.D. and the woman's name was "Tami" the place was called "Freedom scooter's and chairs" and I told the lady nicely that I would like to be taken off their do not call list and she hung up on me! She was very rude and I wanted to report her for her rude behavior to a supervisor!

This company dialed me with a robo dial press 1 campaign.  It is illegal to do press one campaigns to consumers, regardless if it is medical related or not.  Only non-profit and political can do press one campaigns.  Especially illegal to prey on the senior market doing this.  Believe this would fall under preying on elderly seeing they sell scooters.

When the company called, the rep would not tell me where the company was located.  She said " I am in North Carolina.  Let me get your social security number and when I transfer you, they can tell you where they are."  I told her I was not giving social until I know who I am giving it to and she hung up on me.  

I did some research and spoke with the infamous Tammy at Freedom Scooters 866-783-1050.  She gave me the name of Matrix Med.

Here is some information on the company they sell for.  When I dialed them direct, I was connected to another telemarketer whom could not tell me if they are affiliated with a company in North Carolina.
