I receive at least 4 calls a day from this number. I'm at the end of my rope with this company. I constantly tell them we're already a customer, not interested in a different package, STOP CALLING. It doesn't work- they've been calling constantly for about a year. I'm going to ask my father-in-law (attorney)to write a letter threatening them for harassment. Will update on results.

I received a call from this number yesterday and today again... I did not answer and they did not leave a message, which led me to look it up online. I am a Cable customer and so far their service has been good. What if its not Cable but s/o who is doing this in their name?

I've been getting these calls every so often for the past 4 years. What I do is pick up for a split second, then hang up. They won't call back for another 2-3 months.

I got a few calls from this number. Today the background noise sounded like a convenience store, but the caller didn't say anything. Cablevision is maybe paying for telemarketing by the call. I called the number back there is an option to put your number on their do-not-call list.

They have been calling me none stop through out the day. Once I hang up I do not get a call from them. The one time a person spoke they said they were a cable vision telemarketer. I am a cablevision customer and that is not one of their numbers.

I just called 1-888-425-2088 to get on their Do Not Call List- recording says it will take up to 30 days. I'm ready to change my phone number at this point.

it is cablevision. they've called me 5 or 6 times a day everyday for the past 6 months. i answer every so often to mess with the person who called, asking them all kinds of nutjob questions just to waste their time. no amount of calling cablevision or writing them has gotten it to stop. i'm wondering if i can sue them or something just to get it to quit.

I told them several times, and with very simple words, "I DONT WANT THE SERVICE", "PLEASE DO NOT CALL ME AGAIN", "PLEASE REMOVE ME FROM YOUR CALLING LIST".
And now I get 10 calls from them every fckn day.
They don't speak English? Hah?

I have received calls from this number on a few occasions but have not answered it. Glad I found this page though. I am currently a cablevision subscriber, so I now know that they are most likely trying to reach me to ask me to purchase another one of their packages.

Cablevision head of sales should be fired. Whoever came up with this idea is a retard. Calling your own customers about products they already have and to just hang up on them like this or leave no voicemail AND do this multiple times? Come on!!! Can't you figure out who the hell you're calling? I'm expecting they will lose all their business in Brooklyn pretty soon anyway. Can't wait to switch to FIOS.
Used to be loyal customer of Cablevision now loyal to FIOS,

PS Just expressing my frustration here. Judging by how they do business I doubt that anyone is even looking for customer feedback online. Cablevision, do a google search damn it!!!!!! Or just get the hell out.

over and over and over we get calls from this number. Run to the phone and they hang up everytime. I have kept a log and am filing a complaint to cablevision and the FCC. I suggest you do to.

Haha, I also thought it was somebody harassing me, or collections, and I was relieved to find this page. I did a reverse lookup, but only found that they were located in Cold Spring Harbor, Long Island, NY, and I wasn't going to pay for details.
I will post back in 3 weeks if the do-not-call addition actually worked. I want cellphone software that can ban #'s!

I keep on getting call from 516-224-6026. They keep on calling me recently. When I pickup the phone no one answers the call. Well just now by reading above comments came to know its from CableVision/Optimum Cable. Next time i will not pickup this call.

I left Cablevision and went to Verizon FIOS, because even when I had cable they kept calling. It was so annoying! And they are still calling
