Got this call at 3:05PM. Didn't answer it and they did not leave a voicemail. Google shows Jose Bravo. Same as above.

I just got it too.  I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.  Found the same info as above.  I'm not sure if this is the auto warranty scam.  I was getting those for a while too.  It was a different area code.  They also left a detailed "professional" message.


Now that I know what is going on, I will try to do something about it.

Wow. I just got a call from this number. I didnt answer and there is no message. its amazing how many people have posted here this morning about this number. I thought i was the only sketcher.

Just got a call from this number. They wanted me to extend the warranty on a vehicle I may or may not own. I have been getting other calls from a different number a week ago, but they must have change their number. i will be contacting my state officials about this.

Googled 516 564 1642 & got the same name as below (Jose Bravo) Have been getting those crazy recorded "car waranty" calls on my cell phone as well.

oh yeah, The car warranty thing? I tried to talk to them about extending the warranty on my 93 ultima but they hung up on me. So I think I am going to get the VIN# of my landlords new car and the make and model and use that the next time they call. Oh yeah! they will call again. I figure this way they will think they have a fish on the line. Okay maybe not my landlords car. One from the store parking lot will do...lol. ......jeff

i just called this no and it says this no is disconnected so this is certainly a fake no.

me and my roommate both got this call today - i got it in the morning and she got it about 5 minutes ago. i hung up because its ridiculous to think that once your warrenty goes out you can renew it...ITS A SCAM

Got call from this number on cell.  I called it back using another phone and it is diconected.

They called me today, I pretended to be interested in their product to get info on them. When asked to be removed from their list he put me on hold then hung up on me. We should have rights against this kind of thing. I am hoping I get another call. I am going to waste their time by pretending I am interested in their product!

I keep getting phone calls from a number, which is 1 555 555 1212.   I didn't answer it many times.  It calls my cell 3 times a day.  I called it back and as soon as it connects it says City and State please.  Obviously it links to an information center out of state.  But my cell phone bill shows that I dialed 411 and charged a 411 call fee.   I belong to cox telephone for my house number.  I called cox and asked them about it, and told them what happens to me when I call.  When they called the number, it rang, and went into a suspended mode, with no one at the other end.  No one spoke and no recording stating city or state please.  They believe that the other end had caller ID and didn't answer because it knows it was a telephone company.  When I called the number from my house phone it went right to , " cox's communication city and state please.  So when you call it you never can reach who is actually calling your telephone.  Why would an information center call your house or cell phone anyway?  However, When it called me on my cell and I did answer.  I got someone asking me to verify my name, which they knew, my address, which they knew, and my zip code.  This happen on  2 times, another time I heard a women and then she hung up on me.  The last time I had answered it in a low voice pretending to be a man, and told them that this number has been reported to all the agenceis necessary, and not to call this phone anymore.  That this is harrassment.  They talked the entire time I spoke and I couldn't tell you what they said other than, is this Donna? Can you verify that this is Donna? I also reported this number to the attourney generals office in my state.  I also put my number's on the do not contact list for the federal government, and National states.

"This is the second notice that the factory warranty on your car..."
Person on line had no idea what car I had. I asked for a call back number and the man on the line gave a bogus number 310-472-3807.

This seems like an obvious identity theft scam. Beware!

Got this phone call 9:14 am. Same as the above posts. How do they get cell numbers? So annoying.

Looked up bogus # and found it was for California, but not reported in their list. Wonder if two numbers are related to same person or two people waiting to scam others. Someone should do something to stop these bogus calls.

I just got the same number call me. I got it at 9:12 am. I've actually been getting these calls for awhile.. so watch out. They don't just call from 516 numbers.

weird somebody called me as well did reverse lookup, came up w/ Jose Bravo of New York...don't know anybody from 516 or a Jose Bravo wtf do they get our #.
