The guy called claiming to be from the New York State Police and asked to speak to the lady of the house and was very pushy it was less than 1 minute before I hanged up

Just some information for everyone. First, the NY State Police do not sanction solicitations. Second I checked these people out. In my small town alone (Fishkill, NY) they collected $280,000.00 in one year. Out of that money, only $14,000 (5%) was actually reported as being donated to a charity.

They call everyday 2-3 times. We don't answer but they won't give up.! We've checked with police and they say it's a scam. These losers take away from legitimate causes.  

I received same call.  The ethnicity didn't matter.

They call asking for Jerome i told thwm he will call you back when he leaves hell the next day they call i saif hes not back from hell call again and ill take you to him

Called repeatedly several times a day.  I called them back and they said to have your # removed from their list to press 1 which I did.  I also put them on my block list since it takes 30 days to be removed.

calls almost every day.Phone i.d. says c4c FOPNY. This one asks for Lady of the House.Usually between 8 and 9 AM but has called as late as 7 PM. Same voice and very arogant.

These people are a phony "fundraisers". According to the Do Not Call law, companies who are in business to raise funds for charities are exempt. These scum bags get around the law by obtaining this status, but they keep 90% or more of the money they take in and give the rest to "a" charity. Doesn't even have to be the one they are claiming to represent. It's probably a fake charity set up by the company itself. Friends of ours who are police officers have told us numerous times that the Police Benevolent Association (PBA) and Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) do NOT make these types of calls so, DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY!

Yep, we've received numerous calls from this org, as well. They'll never get one cent from us.

These fakes at C4C FOP NY have called me numerous times. This time I decided to answer the call to find out who or what they wanted. The minute I heard the words Fraternal Order of Police I knew it was a scam. Next step for me is to contact the NYS Attorney General's office and report them there.

"Fraternal Order of Pests" is what they are.

It's a couple of scammers on Long Island who play Tough Cop at eight in the morning and all day long through dinner time. Their job is to intimidate YOU into giving THEM money.

Too bad Hurricane Sandy didn't blow their anuses inside out. They are Long Island Dung. They have a lot of nerve and no brains.

They have no conscience. Nothing you say to them gets through the dung in their ears, unless it's "sure, you cops are great, I'll be glad to give you money for the Fraternal Order of Fellatio or whatever you said you were.

It's a crime that bogus "charities" that give all the money they raise to themselves, aren't tossed in jail. REAL cops should be hassling this operation every day, and the Sanitation Department should come by and give them a ticket for being...DIRT BAGS.

What a royal pain
picked up and shouted not to call here any longer

Had a call from same number at 7:30pm tonight. I picked up thinking it was someone from NY area that I work with. Pushy guy, not making a stereotype here, but obviously African-American. When he identified himself from NY State Police I started making fart noises whenever he would speak. I managed to waste 2 solid minutes of his time before he hung up.
I was satisfied.

Caller ID showed: C4C FOP NY-- asked them to stop calling. Male at other end was very pushy and had to 'give him the finger" pushing the button to hang up on him.
