It's a scam company.  They go by a few different name "Dealter Preferred Warranties, Preferred Dealer Warranties, etc.

They play the song and dance about how this is your second notice, and your warranty is about to expire, and then they put you on hold and tell you that they're gonna try to reopen your file.  Mind you they don't even have your name or vehicle make until they ask you for it.  The funny thing is that I deliberately gave them bogus info, and the guy on the other line was trying to play it off like he knew this info and was just trying to verify the info.

It takes dozens of tries to call the number back, but, when you do get back in touch with them, they simply tell you to contact your dealer, and you would have to go through them for  your warranty service complaints. lol Grade a Scammers.  They constantly change their number too... checkout ripoffreport and the BBB website for more info.

I asked for the name of the owner of the company, and the lady hung up on me...lol I asked for the official name of the company, and they hung up on me once again.

They also have put up these fake business news articles that say how great of a company they are, and how much they're 'up and coming.'

What freaks me out is that I changed my cellphone number, and they somehow got the new one and called me again.

I just got off the phone with them...I called them because of an offer I received thru the mail.  The pitch was pretty good and the price seemed to be reasonable.  I did feel, however, that I was dealing with a used-car salesman.  After Googling them I found this site and promptly ended the call with them.  Thanks for the above info 'cause it kept me from getting scammed!

Got a recorded phone message left on my voice mail stating that I had so many days left to get my warranty extended on my vehicle.  They knew the make of my car, however I'm wondering how they knew the make along with my unpublished cell phone number. Maybe they're getting it from insurance information?? This is the only place where both pieces of that information might be available, however I don't think my insurance has my cell phone number.

It's actually quite funny, because I'm pretty sure there isn't any warranty programs covering a 13 year old car.  "Dummasses"

I kept getting calls and messages on my cell phone. I finally selected "1" to talk to someone so I could find out what's going on. I gave the guy a little (public) information and listened to his pitch. It became completly obvious that this was just a load of hooey. He allegedly put me on with a "senior warranty manager" who sounded just him. Hmmm. I pressed on the fact that the calls were annoying and that if he wanted to sell a car warranty, he should know what car he is selling for and say that in the recording. He got progressivly more agitated with me so I told him to "just save us both the frustration and remove me from his call list." He hung up on me. I'm sure there will be a next time (Rats!) and I'm going to see if I'm talking to "Irvens Cersier" listed in one of the notes above and just give them an earfull.

Although our vehicle was built in the U.S. I am in Canada so why would a U.S. firm's computer be calling me about my vehicle warranty expiring? (It's a 2008.) Obviously a scam. I hung up without responding. So much for the vaunted "Do NOT call" list . . .

A Google search on the number returned this as the top hit:
Irvens Cersier      (212) 831-2863      1900 Lexington Ave,  New York, NY 10035
