Keep getting phone call, from unknown number, sometimes it is a 15168580006 and that is a chinese phone number, according to Google, need to have these numbers blocked

The 1 is just the country code.  It's actually a number supposedly out of Nassau, NY.  I've received 2 today.

Many calls from this number and only a beep when I answer.

I keep receiving calls just like this.  Probably 2 a day for a week.  I finally got fed up and called them back.  It went straight to a message saying "All of our customer service representatives are busy.  If you'd like to be removed from our call list please state your name and number."  I hung up, I'm paranoid that they just want your info.  No mention of what company or who they are...weird

They are verifying your number is a "live" number and then selling it to "junk" callers.

I beleive it is some type of time share telemarketing.  Possibly steming from something you signed up for years ago.  Finally got a live a**hole on the phone, and asked to be removed.  We shall see if this helps.

received call from this number this morning.... no idea.  However, i have been receiving calls from numbers I don't know lately, so has my boyfriend.  In 2007 we signed up to win something in Vegas; this is the only connection we can think of.  I don't answer calls unless I know the number.  Good thing!
