I received a call from this company.   A woman claimed she checking on
a record error for State of Michigan.   When I callrd back, phone rang
and rang, no answer.  Who or whay is this company?

I also got a call from here. I don't know why they would contact me. I haven't lived in Michigan for a few years. I never got in trouble there, never had any court cases, etc. I wouldn't be on anyone's will. etc. Why would they contact me? Anyone know?

I got a call from this number and it was for back state of MI taxes.

Received a phone message from a Ms Volari on behalf of Paul McDaniel for the State of Michigan.  

Background sounded as though she was working in a phone bank (or "boiler room" for scams).  Stated that reference # R740554 was "needed for a business matter".  Was told to phone 866.218.7157 with this reference number.

This sounds VERY familiar to the TAKHAR Group scam that's been active lately.

Received a phone message from an unidentified woman calling for Paul McDaniel for the State of Michigan.

This seems to be similar attempt as the one described by me on 22 Apr 2010.
