This number 517-902-0004 calls my house daily asking for my mother, when I ask who is calling, they hang up immediately.

multiple calls from this number...recorded as call from Michigan.  Must be robo-call because no immediate response when picked up.   Im on not call list but it doesnt seem to matter.

when I answered, I was asked if I wanted to donate to help fight breast cancer. sounded like a scam to me.

Get a call every day from this number or 517-902-0003 (they probably have a whole bunch of related numbers). Today for the first time there was a person on the line, she said "THanks for my generous support" of a cancer charity. (I have NEVER given to a cancer charity...). When I said I couldn't contribute she hung up without another word.

I Called back to the recorded message to be removed from list, but I'll bet they will just call back from another number or for a different charity.

Receievd a call last night.It had a 517 area code.I think it might be Lansing area.Anyway I didn't answer andof course they didn't leave a message.Do not call list is such a joke.Not enforced at all.

They claim there a charity but when you question them they hang up on you. I called back & got a recording to be taken off there call list. Which I did & they still called back under a different charity name telling me they are sending me an envelope to send my donation that I requested. Which I didn't request. Call came from Adrian ,MI

That is a michagan area code. Mainly the city of Howell mi uses a 517 area code. I should know... I lived there. If it helps that's all I got.

So I got a call from "Help Save Lives" which the lady hung up on me only to have this phone # that says "Michigan Call" call me seconds after the previous lady. I answered (was in the mood to actually answer these insane phone calls only to tell them to stop calling) but nobody was there. I just heard a clicking noise and then nothing. Seriously? Why do people call homes at all times of the day and night? 8 in the morning, 8 at night, doesn't anybody have a life? Come on!

Called to my home in PA, quickly did automatic callback within 2 minutes and got recording saying number was disconnected or no longer in service.

I got a call from 517-902-0004 on 7/12/2012.  Picked up the call, noticed some type of "marketing" noise in the background of people answering phones, etc.  White male caller said something like, "So if anyone asks you if you've ever been involved in any violence, you can tell them, "No, but people shoot at me all the time!""  (Followed by long, insane laughter.)  I got a mental picture of a scraggly-haired, overweight freak who smokes too much.  I took this to be an implied death threat from a psychopath, so I filed a police report, called my phone company, put a trace on my line, and did an Intelius reverse phone lookup on 517-902-0004, which said that it was a land line in Adrian, MI.  However, other reverse phone lookup services on the Internet show it as a Sprint cell phone.  My Intelius reverse phone lookup did not show any other information for this number, and they actually refunded my money because of that.  Haven't tried any other reverse phone lookup services on this number yet.

What is interesting is that earlier that day, I had received what initially seemed like a legitimate marketing call from someone claiming to represent the Firefighter's Fund, or something like that - I didn't get the number on that one, but it was probably the same 517-902-0004 number.  I told him I can't afford to donate because I'm unemployed, which is true.  I noticed his highly aggressive manner, and thought it was strange.  He also identified himself with some ridiculous name, something like Herman Dingus, which I thought was pretty unlikely.  A short time later, I got the bizarre and harassing call mentioned above, but it didn't sound like the same guy - it was probably from the scumbag who sits in the cubicle next to "Herman Dingus."

Today, a Sunday, I received a hang-up call from a "private number," which makes me wonder if they've changed their phone number to be unlisted.

It is somewhat reassuring to know that I'm not the only person who has received harassing calls from this number.  From reading the other comments, it seems they are some kind of phone crime "organization" trying to steal personal information and defraud people.  My main question is how they got my number, because I have an unlisted number, and had even registered my number with the national "Do Not Call" list back in April.  Is someone at the national "Do Not Call" list being bribed to provide phone numbers to this criminal group?  I filed a complaint against 517-902-0004 at http://donotcall.gov today.

What kind of scumbags do this type of "work" for a living?  And why hasn't law enforcement tracked them down and arrested them for harassment and phone fraud?  They can track down and arrest terrorists, but they can't track down and arrest these stupid scumbags?  I know that if I were doing this type of stuff, the FBI would be knocking on my door the next day.

I recd several calls from (517) 902-0004 on my Caller ID.  When I called the number back, I recd a recording saying that they are a telemarketer for charities.  Therefore they are exempt from the DNC list.  They stated they would remove my number from their list if I requested it, which I did.  Don't complain, just call back and ask to have your number removed!

Got this call today, they asked for my husband by name.  I asked if I could take a message they said no it was a security call.  I doubt it.  After hanging up I redialed the number and got a busy signal then checked here.

Got a call from this number today asking for my husband. When I asked, "May I tell him who is calling?" the idiot asked again to speak to my husband.  I repeated my question and he hung up.  Tried to call back and the line was busy.

This number calls on behalf of charities, which are exempt from the Do Not Call List; if you redial the number they have a recording that allows you to remove your number from their call list.

According to the caller when I picked-up tonight, they claim they are calling for donation for Breast Cancer awareness. I asked him to remove my number and stop calling!

No message...multiple annoying calls. On DNC list but it doesn't seem to matter much anymore.

Numerous calls from this "Unavailable" number.  Our phone number is on the Do Not Call List as well as being unpublished.

Spam call out of MI and we got 3 in 2 days, no message. They also call from 517-902-2003

No ID, called ended before voice mail picked up
