I've petitioned the Michigan PUC to revoke their authority to access the public switching network.  Hope screwing with the do not call list was worth losing the business.

They're a CLEC (Competitive Local Exchange Carrier) in Michigan that has decided to turn a profit on the side by using it's databases for direct marketing. Total scum. Basically they're the phone company and have decided to use their privleged status to place some telemarketing calls and cover the violation. Nice tidy profit. Screw you. Here's how to stop it. 616 361-0128 is their REAL business number. The guys in charge are named Jon K Hale (VP finance) and R Steven Hale (CEO), and their contact info is : Lucre, Inc. 4011 Plainfield Ave NE Grand Rapids MI 49525 exec fax: 616-361-9735. Next, I'm going to find out who uses them as a CLEC, then send them this page and let them think about who they've chosen to carry their call databases. Their website says, "Lucre as in lucrative". How about as in FILTHY F*CKING LUCRE!?! EVERY TIME you get a call from them, call one of the brothers and GIVE 'EM HALE!

Okay, maybe this will help.  I just filed a complaint with the FCC.  If enough of us file, form 1088 via the internet, maybe something good will happen!

I receive a call on my cell from this number all the time. I never answer. I find in unfair I can not block it. Who would we report it to besides here.

Got call from 517-931-2512 on 6/16 @ 4:40 pm, no message, Dont Know what they want, or why called.  Returned call got "Automated Management System."

just called...screened call because I don't recognize ID or number...went to machine and hung up...called 517.931.2512 and received same automated system as Rotagi...followed prompts to remove number...hopefully it works.

Same voicemail prompted when call returned and along with the message, saying "you have reached the customer service automated management system, if you have been contacted by one of our sales agent and would like your telephone number removed from our calling database, press 1 now, if you'd like to speak to a live operator plse press 2  or stay in the line, thank you for your call... plse wait while I connect your call to: 888-246-8038...busy tone follows... NEEDLESS TO SAY THAT IT IS HARRASSINGLY HARRASSING... And all avenues provided by law will be explored to fully report such a disgusting practice for prosecution.

I recieved a call from this number, also displaying the "MN" caller id. Automated voice said it was from the "local phone company".

on 04-21-2008 around 18:22 hour,tele # 1517-931-2512 called my mobile number at 646-xxx-xxxx . The caller instructed me to press 1 to lower my phone rate to $19- I beleive.I hung up.
I called back from my land line phone 718-xxx-xxxx. Their automated service answer as follow: You have reached the customer service automated management system. If you have been contacted by one of the sale agent and want your phone to be removed from the list press 1. Press 2 or stay on the line if you want to switch services. I did not press 2.Few seconds later their automated system switched me to telephone number 888-246-8038 then they disconnected the call.

It's an automated phone call *claiming* to be from your current phone company and requests that you press 1 to lower your rate to 19.99.   Since they never state the name of any phone company (it showed up as "MN" on my caller ID), it's clearly a scam to get you to switch.

Why don't the cell phones have a feature that allows us to block selected numbers?

same as the above, I did not answer, returned call from a different phone and got the vm saying that it was temp. disconnected.

When called back, the recording says the number has been disconnected even though they just called a few minutes before.
