They call my house every day. I am getting ready to have my number changed.

We get four calls each day from these creatures. Why can't the telephone company or the Government's do not call list stop these people from such harassment?

How can they get ANY business? They are rude and they always say "This is your final notice." If each time they call, and it is the final notice, they are either morons, idiots or crooks. I wish they would have to pay a fine each time they hang up on people who ask to remove them from the calling list.

I had that call and pressed 1 to speak to a rep.  The man came on the phone and I explained I was on the Do Not Call list.  He told me that didn't apply to them because they are calling from my bank; but then declined to tell me the name of the bank.  I told him I wanted to be removed from their systems and he snapped.  He said, "If you don't want to f****ng talk to us, then why'd you press 1 like a dumbass?!" and then hung up on me.  Telemarketer or not, that is horrible behavior.

(518) 278?0333 Robo call recorded 15 May 2014 (Triple message includes "Bridget & Carmen at Cardholder Services...reduce your rate...consider this your final notice..." Credit Card SCAM)
Caller ID: "Ballston Lak[e] NY"

Also called recently from:  (360) 322?6668 | (360) 322-6687 | (360) 322-6708 | (360) 322-6685 | (360) 322-6708 | (360) 322-6737 | (302) 764?3176 | (757) 264-1254 | (310) 318-1250 | (310) 821-8963 | (385) 208-8809 | (706) 805-1776 | (616) 980-2164 | (616) 980-2063 | (616) 980-2030 | (616) 613-2228 | (215) 383-3414 | (415) 333-9999 | (281) 966-5793 | (616) 613-2199 | (305) 389-5335  (they seem to control the entire 360 322-66xx and 67xx phone number block)

Triple message, now including "Bridget" and "Carmen" about a month after their last call from a different number, even after assuring me, "...consider this your final notice..."

Yeah, I wish.

The recorded message is their usual patter (see below) but there's a pause, followed by a differently worded message on the same "lower your rate" theme. Then there's another pause, and the first voice and first message about lowering your rate is repeated. Finally (none too soon) they say "good bye" and disconnect.

Their total disregard of the Do Not Call list certainly tells us a lot about their business ethics, doesn't it?

Here is a transcript of their latest offering:

[female voice] "Hello, this is Bridget with Cardholder Services calling in reference to your current credit card account. There are no problems currently with your account, it is urgent that you contact us concerning your eligibility for lowering your interest rate to as little as 1%. Your eligibility expires shortly so please consider this your final notice. Please press the number 1 on your phone now to speak with a live operator and lower your interest rate. Or press the number 3 to discontinue further notices. Thank you. Have a great day."

[7 second pause, then electronic tone followed by a different voice and different message]

[other female voice] "Hello, this is Carmen at Cardholder Services calling in reference to your current credit card account. It is urgent that you contact us concerning your eligibility for lowering your interest rate. Please consider this your final notice. Press the number 1 now to speak with a live operator and lower your interest rate or press the number 3 to discontinue further services. Thank you and have a great day."

[another 7 second pause, then "Bridget" and the first message repeats]

[7 second pause]  [yet another female voice] "Good bye".
