4 calls from this number, back to back...didn't answer and they left no message. Just a beeping for about 30 seconds..
Strange if it is about a college loan...my kids graduated from college 25+ years ago and paid off their loans. Clearly another scam...

GM everyone,
I just received a call from this number, a women at the other end, asked how my day was going and then said you don't know who this is, and I said no, your number is not programmed into my phone as your name would have come up. She then said see this is why I don't bother to call you and said goodbye.
I tried to call it back but just kept getting a busy. Obviously another scam.

Just received this call (didn't pick up). Some say it is for college information, others say it is for college loans in default. I never had a college loan so who knows.

Received a message via cell phone which I don't understand because I have a non-New York number. Said I was in default which I am not. Wanted me to provide him with personal information. I was sent a letter to the US Attorney's Office. This is a scammer.

I just got a call from this guy who said my daughter applied for a college loan and she put me down as a reference. He wanted her phone number. She has a degree from top school. Sounds like BS

Good thing we have people like you around to teach us all the finer points of logic and reasoning... actually, I just got a call from this loser and not only do I NOT have any outstanding student loans (or loans of any kind), I dont even have a college education?
Its a solicitation for online college courses... which very well may be applicable in my situation, nonetheless - I think I speak for the majority of us when I say "dont call us, we'll call you" if we need any of your services!
