Another survey call.  I've found that DO NOT CALL doesn't  work!  What can we do???!

Yeah, got this on Sunday night at 8:30 and tonight (Monday and a holiday) at 9:25 PM.
Same rubbish as mentioned above.

I live in western NY but grew up in Schenectady NY so I thought this 518 number was someone I knew.  Turns out it's "Sienna College" performing a survey.  I find this highly unlikely unless they're doing research on rejection or research on how many people would give out their info freely.  

Just received a call from this nice female lady. I didn't really pay much attention until she asked if i was 18 or older person. I basically lied about that but she nicely hung up. I was just curious to know who this was or was this just some advertising call until I googled up this phone# and reading everyone's comment where some explains who called and what for. This got me to just check out about Siena Research Institute and why they'd be calling. It seems to just be a survey. If they do call again, I'll just ask and/or tell them to remove me off their list so they won't call me anymore.

This number has called me 3 times in the last hour. No message left. I don't answer calls from strange numbers.

They call me twice a day and again in evening as if they know my schedule. Went leave messages but this started happening only recently. Grrr.

It is from Siena Research.  A nice lady will remove your number from the list if requested.  It is for a survey, but they will not leave a message if you do not pickup.

I have a new cell number - not even one week old and received my first call from the above.  Please be advised that I recently changed my telephone number because I was being stalked by someone, therefore, I was forced to change by number under the orders of law enforcement.  I find extremely upsetting for this person/company to be invading peoples privacy.  DO NOT contact my number!!!  This number needs to be investigated, warned and completely abolished!!!!

got a phone call on my cell phone from 1-518-782-6808 didnt answer it considering I don't give out my cell phone number.

Would like to know how they got this number

Voicemail with recorded music playing in the background (as if I was on hold), ringing to connect, no connection, more music, more ringing, call finally ended after 1 min. 20 sec.

Caller is the Siena College Research Institute, Loudenville, New York

Called and left no message on the answering machine.
I called them back and spoke with a female.
She said that they did surveys of various types and this call being on the topic of political and economic concern.
I requested that my number be removed from their list.
The woman indicated that they would comply with my wishes.
