I asked the caller what FBC stood for . The Gay man w***e on the other end of the line told me thier initials stood for F****ng Big C***s.  That's what I thought.  They can go f*** themselves and stop phoning and interrupting me crazy cocaine and f*** session I have thier mom

If your company is so great then they shouldn't be calling numbers registered on the DNCL.

Too funny has it ever occurred to you the only reason you get audited is that FBC is screwing things up, the only reason you get audited is when there are flags and I guess FBC must be doing that, I know a lot of people never got or have had a audit it there life time, I know 3 members of FBC that have been audited, I don't know you do the math. My odds are don't do business with FBC. It is what it is.

It is rather funny that you would respond to the previous post must of hit a nerve, I would say that it is true as well about FBC because a similar thing happened with one of my friends, just because you have FBC has a  A+ rating with the BBB means nothing no one has bothered to complain about scam. Please all don't be a victim take steps such as reporting scams to your Government and by the way Im on do not call list why are you calling me  compliants about this company all over the net.

Anytime someone asks for the "the big boss" they are a telemarketer of some sort. I like the people trying to defend this business saying "its a really good company don't bash it".... if it was a really good company then they wouldn't need to be calling a million numbers a day looking for business, people should be coming to them. Good luck getting through to the big boss man... Get a real job.

Just looking to see if we can help your boss save some money with his business taxes. I appreciate the dedication and caliber to which you do your job as a gatekeeper. In turn, hope you can appreciate and respect the professionalism I have committed to in doing my job.

I used to cold call for fbc. I hated how aggressive some co workers were.  I could never be that aggressive and I always respected the voice on the other end of the phone. After all, I was calling these businesses out of  the blue! I agree these cold callers are just making a living but geez - quit being so aggressive. Have some respect for the business owner you're attempting to reach. In the end FBC's service is really expensive. They are offering an accounting service for farms and businesses that gross up to 5 million and guess what?- they don't have any accountants that work them, and I mean 0 accountants. They train Certified Tax Consultants in about 3 weeks and then try and tell business owners that they are better than CA's because they are forced to do more training several times per year!! That's laughable to me!!  If you are a receptionist and you want them to stop calling just tell the cold caller that you are a partner in the business and ask them to put your company on the do not call list. As a side note to all the "business owners" who claim that FBC is so rude...It starts by the way you answer the call, when it comes down to it, we are just people trying to make a living, just like you.   You need to realize that those are the types of actions that gain companies 'bad reputations'   Do not be so quick to judge, because we offer a valuable service, and at least have the courtesy to hear us out, and let us know in a professional manner, that you are not interested.   Thanks

Rude and aggressive telemarketer trying to market some type of service to my business.  I didn't give him much of a chance to explain - just made it clear that I didn't want any more calls from him or his company.

It's time for the government to allow/institute a Do Not Call List for businesses.

An accounting service that telephone solicits? Wow they must be desperate. I've never heard of a reputable firm needing to do that. I guess a sucker is born every minute.

The people at FBC should not be so quick to dismiss the receptionist.  I am also the owner of the company.  I really hate these types of calls.  If I need your services, I will call you.  If you are calling me with some great deal, I can assure you the deal is only great for you.

I will have to stand up for the FBC. My family has been members with FBC for 20+ years and have nothing but great things to say about FBC. They have on more then one occasion represented our business at a audit with Canada Revenue and saved us and our business alot of money.  They have always done everything they promised to do and more.

You should a really hard look at a business before you make a accusation based on a 3 minute phone call or a 1 minute glance at a website.

Just got a call and added them to my call block.  "She said we are a specialized income tax service".  I said I am not interested.  She wouldn't give up.  It went downhill from there.  You could tell from all the background noise that she was in a phone room with a bunch of other people.

Only reason I answered is because it was not an 8xx number and had a CID which often means it's legit.  No unsolicitied calls for random services I am not looking for that may or may not be on the up and up are legit as far as I'm concerned.

We also have their phone numbers flagged as "Telemarketers". Answered it today just to remember who it was and renamed it Tele-FBC - so now we'll never answer it.

Some Tina lady keeps calling to speak with my boss.  She will never get through, ever. Thats what gatekeepers are for! Sorry Tina!!! Good luck with another company!

FBC is a small business tax specialist company.  We have been in business since 1952, have 50,000 members across the country, and have an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau.  As an employee of FBC I would have to apologize for any bad experience, however the response above is in no way indicative either of what the company represents, or of the service and value we provide to both our members and employees.  

As an entry-level employee, I would have to defend the company against the above allegations by letting you know that I am neither unhappy working for them, or aware of unhappy members, as the majority of our clientele stay with us year after year.  It is not possible to keep everyone happy and I hope the complaints of a very small minority of disgruntled people do not harm the image of our company.

I always get a call from these people.  The company is called FBC they are small business tax specialists so they say, but it sounds a little fishy to me.  I did some research and it sounds like these guys are scammers.  check out this website i found on this company www.ripoffreport.com/fbc.  after reading this it sounds like these guys not only have unhappy customers, but unhappy employees too.  Does not sound like a business you want to do business with.  they have locations all over canada.  When they get you on the phone they are so rude to you and wont hang up until you let them book an appointment for some guy to come to youe house and sell you an accounting package worth thousands of dollars then they try to scare you into buying by telling you "you will be audited" what a shady way to do business.  they wanted me to pay them almost 10000 yes  ten thousand dollars because of how much money i make. they base it of my total transactions which is ridiculous  I make no money it all goes back into my business and they want a percent of the money i make.  after talking to some people who have tried and used this servicie they have nothing good to say - turns out when you leave this company your likely to get audited and thats when the fun begins.  do your research before you let these guys into your house, they won't leave until you buy and good luck getting your money back if they even call you back

According to Google, FBC is a "small business tax specialist" company that does have an office in London, Ontario - so likely you/we were cold called by them trying to drum up business (my guess).

I answered and the caller disconnected.
