Got This call form califonia. congradulation you win promotion.  asked to press 1to confirm.  I just hung up.  I called the national Do not call list 1-866-580-3625to have calls stopped but they will only investigte.  I guess if enough people file complaint they may actually do somthing.

Got the call last night on my cell phone. I am on Canada's Do Not Call List. My cell phone is turned off most of the time as it is prepaid and I dont want to waste my money. My voice mail says on it specifically whose messages will be returned. They didn't leave a message and I have no intention of returning the call.

It called me today around lunch time and I called back and luckily my provider said I needed to put a 1 there and i forgot and i realized I should use skype since it is free. So I used skype and called them and all it does is play really stupid songs continuously. its not telus i doubt it.

Missed this call when I was at work on my unlisted cell phone, saw the area code and looked it up and it said it was from California.  I got super excited because I'm hoping to hear from a producer who travels around in the States (I Live in Calgary Canada).  I called it back all excited and nervous but I just got this annoying music on the other end. I googled it and came to this site.  Now I'm very diappointed and angry.

Tried calling them, but only music at the other end. Rogers charges per minute, so even if I hang up immediately, I still get charged a full minute.

From Toronto, with Rogers Wireless.  I just got the call today ... didn't pick up.  This is really getting annoying.

I have received several calls from this number on weekday afternoons on my 647 area cell phone in Toronto.  When I answer ("hello? hello?") the caller disconnects.

I have had a couple of missed calls from this number - glad I missed them - don't want to pay for long distance calls

Bummer...just found out the DNC list is only for CANADIAN companies to abide to.  US companies are free to bug us all they want!  Typical...

I got it too and just ignored it. Some promotion is not worth the long distance charge. funny that it's a Telus promotion... even though my carrier is Rogers.

They called me to my cell phone. Usually I wouldn't answer a phone call from a stranger, but since I have some job applications ongoing I picked up. I have prepaid service.

yep, this do***ebag called me today.  Only 28 more days until the no-call list kicks in and no more of this crap!!!

I also got a call from this number, however I was at work and missed the call. I didn't call it back because I didn't recognize the number and thought if it had been important, there would have been a message. I too am in Canada and not sure how they got my number as it's a cell phone and unlisted. I can't wait for the DNC list to start.

i answered because i didnt see the area code and it was some computer guy saying my phone number was the lucky winner of some promotion and to press 1 to recieve it... i hung up XD

When you answer those calls, pick up, but say nothing.  Wait for them to act first.  Do not acknowledge - if you press 1, you are saying "yes, this is an active number, SPAM AWAY!"
