Caller asked to speak with Vargas. When I said there is no Vargas here, she said that they were selling extended service plans. I immediately told her that we are on the do not call list and she hung up.
Seems a new strategy; Despite a seemingly wrong number trying to sell you stuff. Reported to do not call. gov !

Just did exact same thing to me. Said my name and hung up. Can we sue for harassment? The number has come up on my caller ID every day for days!

Never leaves a message, but I called back.  It says it is a bunch of fine children and health organizations' charities and fundraisers.

Tired of getting calls from these people.  Never leave messages on our machine.

I have recived that call as well. I am not positive, but I bevieve it is an orginization looking for donations for the virginia state police.

never answer it

I answered the phone thiinking it was a friend from Virginia. The person on the line stated a 800 number and gave the name of a children health organization, then hung up.

Someone called,  said my name and hung up.  What is that all about?

It is a charities group and we've asked them to remove our number several times but we still get these calls so we just don't answer anymore.
