Same as above, received a call on my cell but left no messge. When I called back on land line, they indicated it was a travel related call and that I could be removed.  My cell carrier is AT&T.

Picked up the call- since it was a random # during work hours (3 days in a row!), and was immediately hung up on each time. Upon calling the number back it was a recording of a man with a very heavy British accent, if you stay on the line long enough there is an option to press 1 and be removed from the calling list, you wait for the beep and enter you number and sure enough after following the instructions I stopped getting the calls.

yup just got a call all in spanish.  the only thing i could understand was the word Nicarauga?  I have sprint

This is the second time I got this call.  The recording is a woman who says that you have just won a prize and that you will be conatcted within one hour.  When you call back, you get a british male voice.  It is a recording from a program called "digital concierge" which is relatively inexpensive.  DO NOT enter your telephone number as it enters you in a list as an active cell number to receive useless spam texts and further recorded solicitations.  Virginia is lax on cell phone spam so they actual person using his/her computer is probably living there and selling dempgraphic cell phone lists.

Got a call from (540) 322-5500, but ignored it... Did a google search of the CID and found this page.

I just got the call and did not answer... no voicemail.  I use Sprint and just changed my number less than 48 hours ago.  I haven't even given it out to my friends yet!

I was receiving mysterious calls from a (651)204-1374, when as soon as I blocked the number through my wireless carrier I received a call from this number.

it is annoying , they call and waste your time, not nice at all

They called me five minutes ago (6:44 p.m eastern standard time.).  The call was automated, in Spanish and static-y.  This is the second time (last time was perhaps a month and a half ago and the first time was after I had traveled abroad to Paris.

Just got a call from this number as well. Answered and it was a menu system in Spanish. Hung up

Just got a call from this number on my cell phone. I didn't answer and there was no voicemail left. A reverse search on the number shows that it is an unpublished number from a landline in Fredericksburg, Virginia.

Static incomprehensible male voice in Spanish. I think I caught the word "dinero."

I also keep receiving this call and not only once but about every 5 days or so, have never been able to answer, always at work, but when I call back get the same british man refering to travel information.  I would love to find a way to make this stop! Oh and I use AT&T so I am thinking carrier doesn't help us :(

my little sister got a call from that number they told her  that she had won a free ticket for something well shes 12 years old so talk to the guy and i asked what it was about and he say this :   you just won a ticket!  
i asked him for what. and he say for a circus and the only clown its gonna be you.  

so becarefull whit this number and dont give information about you...

Saw this number on my caller ID at work. Call came in last night (7:30 CST). The caller did not leave a messsage.

I got the call at 10 am this morning and I have USCellular, I could not tell anything about what was being said, it was in a foreign language.

I have Cingular(AT&T) and received this call on 10.21.08 about 1pm.  I did not receive a voice message and will not call back.

I use AT&T (Cingular) and I just got the same call also. I didn't answer and they didn't leave a voicemail and no I'm not calling it back.

i received a call while my phone was off. Did a google search and found this page. I also have a sprint phone.

I recieved a call from 804-212-7719 over December 31st, 2008 and again Jan. 1st, 2009. The voice was a muttered "data" voice repeating the line "F*ck You, F*ck You, F*ck You...." over and over. I did a reverse search and found that the number was coming from Coretel Virginia, LLC. I knew something was fishy about this, and sure enough on my next Sprint bill was a charge for $9.99 (ring tone) that I never purchased. Sprint was great about it and refunding the charges. Make sure you are tracking your bill and add to this thread to help others out that are effected by this hack!
