I called this number back & got a recording saying that someone was committing I.D. fraud using this number.  It said they can't trace who is doing it & to notify my carrier to try to help me.  Is anybody else as pissed off as I am by all these calls?  What happened to the big farce from our government saying that unsolicited calls would be stopped all we had to do was called a certain number--WHAT A JOKE THAT TURNED OUT TO BE!!!  How come our government is trying so hard to convince  us that AMNESTY  WOULD BE SO GOOD FOR US, but yet they can't stop these idiots.  It's all smoke & mirrors folks.  It's all about big business, cheap labor & BIG MONEY!!!  All to help these "poor families" that broken the law, but screw those of us were  born here, have worked here all our lives & paid taxes can to to hell, huh?  I have been calls @ 8AM from the Republican party wanting me to take a survey so they can find out many of us want them in office in 2014 & 2016.  It's going to be a long 3 1/2 years till the next election but I am powerless to stop their onslaught as well--BIG GOVERNMENT.  We are doomed folks.  I worry what kind of  a country my children & grandchildren will inherit--THE UNITED STATES OF MEXICO, ASIAN & ARABS.

This is a real joke! The caller, an Indian (I'm assuming) with a dreadfully thick accent and bad english, wanted to know if I use birth control. I told the caller that I use Trojan's. I asked the caller if he knew what Trojan's are. He replies with tro-guns. I said Trojan's. They're condoms. Do you know what condoms are? The caller is saying something about Yaz and some other women's birth control. I tell the caller I'm a guy! Guy's use condoms buddy! The dumb a** kept talking in his broken english, and I told him to go f-off and never call me again.

So tired to get calls from different numbers (this is one of those) from a person with a heavy foreign accent, telling he/she is calling from "medical deparment" and asking me if I had use a birth control. I don't know who these people can get my name and cellphone number if it is in the do not call list!

I am on the GOV NOT CALL LIST with both my cell and my home phone. That has never stopped them even when I have reported other companies before. THE do not call list is no more then a joke itself. IF IT WORK it would be great! I do not have one of the new cells that takes apps. I have the old fashion flip phone. Have had for 10yrs, and it still works great! Sounds like a great app for the sell though

Hi Rachel, Yes I have had some hard times with medical issues and one of the major reasons I filed bankruptcy last year. We had no other way. We tried everything but even with medical ins. my medical bills were way up there.  When I called my Lawyer yesterday and told him what happened with Obrien, Wexler assoc & Joe Thomas's phone call to me. He is ready to go after them! They have 30 days to respond. My lawyer called me back this afternoon and has already fired off a 30 day demand letter to them AND he sent a copy to the bankruptcy court of my county so they can also see what this so called company is trying to do. I will let you all know how this turns out, but I will not back down, when I know I am right.These idiots just tried to scare the living hell out of me, with the treat of arrest, and court costs on top of what they said I OWED THEM>>I don't owe THEM Obrien, Wexler OR A**. a damn dime. This was after I told them I was disabled, bedridden after 6 back surgeries, a stroke and now a heart condition. He didn't back off trying to over talk me until I said if I have any medical issues because of this phone call, you will be paying out a lot more to me and my lawyer then what you even thought about scamming me out of. When you get a lawyer and you pay him the "big" bucks to take care of everything, that is what my lawyer told me his job was, and still is. He said he will represent me with anything to do with the bankruptcy, and then told me and what ever else you need my services for. get rid of your landlines, or submit your nr to DONOTCALL.GOV or get a magicjack, and on your mobile phone, get an app thats called    Mr.Number  -   i just got called by it and my app said SUSPECTED SCAM - so that was that.

Just called me about 20 minutes ago. I never answer a number I don't know. Will report it to the "Do Not Call Registry" which I have had for years now. It's on "call block" now. This is the first time this number has called or it would already be on my "blocked" list.

They called my work number and didn't leave a message.

Got a call at 4:37pm today. It was a recorded message asking if I or a loved one have suffered from blot clots or stroke after taking Yaz birth control pills.

2nd time in 3 days this Robo call about birthcontrol medication causing strokes or embolysms.  I called the phone number back 541-257-1293, and it is real simple to get your phone number REMOVED from THEIR CALL LIST as the computer voice called it!!! Just have to give the number that called you, and verify your phone number they called. Then the computer says please allow 48-72 hrs for my number to be removed. SOME times it is real easy to handle folks. YES 2013 is here and so are all the scammers, ambulance chasers, hackers, spammers. THIS YEAR I am reporting every single time I feel I am violated in my privacy! Both my home # and cell #'s are on the do not call list! I will start reporting every single illegal call that comes into me. SO I hope they are ready for this Taurus the Bull! They started me off yesterday with a scammer trying to collect on a debt that was discharged in my bankruptcy. They threatened to come and arrest me, in addition to telling me that I was committing fraud, with malicious intent to defraud a financial institution. That It will cost me a lot more money in paying THEIR court cost if I fought it. I asked for them to MAIL me documentation showing this was reversed out of my bankruptcy because of the malicious intent to defraud a financial institution! Well they hung up on me. SO I called my bankruptcy lawyer, he called the county clerks office to verify that the debt was discharged, and yes of course it WAS discharged and this court has never heard of this kind of "debt" being "reversed" out of a discharged bankruptcy. SO I CALLED THIS Obrien, Wexler, Assoc's  (the # that called me was 877-34-5288) BACK got the same Joe Thomas that says HE GOT disconnected that he didn't hang up on me. Well I said since you were kind enough to hang up on me you gave me time to call my lawyer. I could here him swallow DEEP! He said well your lawyer (what is his name?) I said well if you have my bankruptcy papers in front of you like YOU said you DID before YOU HUNG UP ON ME, you have my lawyers name, address, phone number, fax number...I said MY lawyer called the county courts and this HAS BEEN discharged and never been reversed as YOU are saying it has been. You said maybe my lawyer didn't have this information yet, well I guess your theory would be that the courts would NOT have this information yet either??  THEY wanted $998 on a original debt that I filed bankruptcy on for under $200. The guy Joe Thomas choked up a bit and said, well I need to look into this a bit. He then SAID I will call you back after I look into this, BUT if you don't hear BACK from me JUST DISREGARD THIS CALL> I SAID BS if I will disregard this call YOU F....ers started this and I will damn well see it through. YOU WILL send me a certified letter within 30 days from today saying YOU MADE A MISTAKE IN CALLING ME< THREATENING, etc. I said MY LAWYER who was well paid for my bankruptcy is ready to file a case on YOU Joe Thomas, (which I then said I know is not your real name) BUT THE COMPANY you work for and every employee at the time MY LAWYER files a case against the company will be named in the law suit! I told them they really made a big mistake in threatening a lady who is bedridden, from 6 back surgeries on full time oxygen and a heart condition. I told them also IF I wind up in the ER or hospital because of this CALL that to will be included in a law suit against the company YOU work for AND YOU. OH WHEN THEY SAY you are being recorded, you make sure you click the recorder ON, ON YOUR OWN PHONE and let them know great I am recording YOU TOO. When I called back the lawyer told me to record it and tell them I am. THIS Joe Thomas is a ballys azzz, as he still threatened to have the sheriff come arrest me within 48 hrs at my home IN CALIFORNIA..FUNNY thing is I don't live in Calif. I filed bankruptcy in a different state, & THEY called my phone number which is NOT a Calif phone number. THESE guys are plain out what you call STUPID!!! I really don't think I will hear from them. BUT THEY will hear from my lawyer on 2/14/13 (30 days from now) if we have not got a letter from them saying THEY made a mistake!!!! Glory to 2013 and reporting every single one of these  azzes this year.....HOPE you all do the same.. NEVER GIVE THESE PEOPLE MONEY. I suspect it's another of these credit card insurance scams.  I get them once a week from different area codes and I don't answer them anymore.

This # calls cell phones & you answer & there is not anyone there.  Very annoying.
