Yep..got a call from Mr. Jay Pensky 1-877-223-2899 regarding wage reductions on up to 25%.  First of all what bill collector calls someone on Christmas day or the weekend?  One that is not from here of course.  I know this is a scamm.  I was harrassed at me job for two weeks from indian accent people, now it sounds like an American that just speaks verrrrrrrrry slow.  Not doing anything unless I see something in writing.  I know my FTC rights.

Your H/R Dept. will contact you via mail that they've been ordered to garnish you. driver license revocation CAN"T HAPPEN

10 minutes ago I had the same call, they can't revoke your drivers license or garnish wages without a court order, by the way you'll have court documents served to you if its a real case. Get his info if he'll give it to you, tell him  you've contacted a lawyer to have an order of cease & desist served on him. I have an apt with an attorney tomorrow to get these a__holes to stop calling me at work.

Received voice mail from pensky .  debt collectors must use the speech before continuing the conversation. Whether speaking directly or voice mail. Does not do this. Pretty sure bogus. I spoke to him a month ago told him was going through work comp. Case and i would pass this on to my attorney. He back peddled and said he would contact me again in a month. Sure as sh##, he just called.  

Has anyone had any other run ins with this guy or someone calling from this number. Curious if anyone had them send anything to their paroll

I called some of the major bereaus about this guy and yes, he is clearly violating the law just by saying he can suspend your license and garnish wages.  The only way you can get your license suspended is for obvious traffic violations or not paying child support.  I filed a complaint on him on FTC.gov as well.  

I received a voice mail as well.  I didn't talk to Mr. Pensky, but I knew it was BS from the message.  Just an FYI to those of you who might be getting called on their cell phone, as I am.  I have an iPhone 4, with Verizon and with one of these latest OS upgrades I now have the ability to block callers, which is what I would suggest you do with any and all of these types of numbers.  I also have a Do Not Disturb feature which is wonderful since it only allows calls thru that are in my contacts.  It's made my life a lot easier.  Unblocked calls can still leave a voice mail, but then after that they I block them.  

Yes..Mr Pensky just called me too and said that "we are scheduled for a wage garnishment". I did hear him mention something about a settlement for $270. Please report this to your local attorney general or call go to www.stopfraud.gov and a rep will assist you in reporting Mr Pensky. Please do not let this stress you and the call may come as a 319-892-3224 cover. Please don't answer.

Same person just called me and left a voicemail. First off couldnt say my last name and basiclly the same problem as above with the exception of calling my work

"Mr. Pensky" called and left a message that I was being garnished and that my license would be suspended...BOGUS.   No collector can garnish your wages without a legal judgement and cannot suspend your license.  I called back, asked for proof, which he of course did not have.  He got rude so I hung up, he called back and I told him not to call this number again, 30 seconds later m work phone rings and its him...I told him good luck and hung up again.  He immediately called back and said he talked to my HR department to place agarnishment...this is such BULL
