i had the the same issue a person called saying he was my mother cousin and that he had a package for her,  every time we would ask who he was he would just say don't u remember me i am your cousin and called several other times, last time he called he said he was in T.J. and had gotten into a car accident with a BMW and that if we could send him money because he had two checks but couldn't cash him till he crossed the border... thanks for your post it helped..

(554) 988-3123 is the number that came up on the caller ID

Received a call from a person indicating that he was a cousin from Mexico.  He asked me to guess his name to see if I remembered him.

He did not sound familiar.

It seemed suspicious and that he was looking for info.  He knew my name which he probably had when calling my number.
