Well I got another message today from them, this one said your German American account is closed due to unusual activity, please call us immediately at the toll free number:

OK....well i dont even have an account with German American Bancorp...so what could they possibly take from me.

They said my card had expired at a bank I do not do business with. I know the callers are thieves, but there are so many people who don't know any better and get suckered in on the scam, and lose their life's savings.

I just received one yesterday.  I'm sure they are trying to get your bank information, etc.  Just another way to try to scam people!  Why don't these people just get a job like everyone else??

Ok I've never even heard of German American Bancorp company in my life and I get this text on my cellphone from the number 1-559-221-1690. First of all, I'm just a kid and this is disturbing to me. The told me that my account has expired when I never had an account there. I really hope someone does something about this because I don't want to have to deal with fraudulent texts and phonecalls.
