They don't have to "buy". Your number.   It is easy to get area codes and then start dialing numbers in a pattern to find someone.

I RECEIVED A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER 559-248-1493 BUT WHEN I CALL IT BACK IT SAYS THE NUMBER OR CODE U HAVE DIALED IS NOT VALID PLEASE HANG UP AND TRY UR CALL AGAIN

I received a call from this number to my work phone.  Didn't leave a message and I'm not calling it back.

"To protect your home.  If you will allow us to place a small sign in your yard, we will install a new security system at absolutely no cost to you whatsoever.  There is no cost for the system, or the installation whatsoever.  To hear more, press one now.  To be placed on our do not call list, press nine."

This call was a triple violation of TCPA and FTC TSR as a cold call solicitation:  1)  Pre recorded message (always illegal)  2)  Cell phone  3)  Registered FTC DNC list

I dont know a single person whonlies in fresno california. Didnt leave a message after.

Caller I'd shows Fresno Ca. No message. Tried calling back private. Message said that it was a non-working number and can not accept private calls.SCAM

They just called me the # was from California I live in Michigan I didn't answer thy didnt leave a message so I think it's definitely a scam

I called back because I do have family in that area, but do not know who this is. All it said was press any key to be removed.

I just got a call from this number. Funny thing is, I just switched(Ported my number) from Verizon to AT&T and I've been getting strange calls for the past 3 days.

They just called my home too, got half of a message on a voicemail,talking about installing some sort of system and that there  no charge.

Same as above, I let it ring, no message and looked the number on this site, figured it was a scam, Thanks.

I just got a voicemail from this number. They are trying to sell a home security system. If you answer, it is automated at first with an option to be removed from their list.

This number just called my number at my desk for work...Really??!!!! I was very surprised when I googled the number and noticed all of these complaints about a SCAM.. that is annoying and weird. I don't know who it is, a message was not left.

Just received 2 calls from this number in a minute, with no message. Has to be a scam.

Received a call from this number on my cell phone.  I did not answer because any calls received on my cell are from my family only so if a phone number I don't know, I don't answer.  Besides, if it is important then leave a msg.   Call came from Fresno, Calif.
